PokerStars launch video chat feature in Home Games
Now you can needle your friends in real time on video while playing against them in PokerStars Home Games.
It was one of our poker predictions for 2022 and now it appears that video chat in home games is a reality, almost.
After a trial, PokerStars have added a video chat feature for their Home Games. Now you can keep up the table banter from your kitchen table home game online as you play online poker with friends.
Home Games were the only poker format where players have previously been allowed to use video chat software alongside the client. Now there is no need as it is all built in to the PokerStars software.
The feature is available both on desktop and mobile PokerStars apps. Right now it is only available for UK players but will be rolled out globally in the next few weeks.

Rewards of up to 65% Rakeback
While jumping into the Double Action Freerolls, don't forget that a new rewards system at PokerStars worth 65% rakeback was made available to all players.
Pokerstars Rewards scored a 78% jump in customer satisfaction for the 20% of players who tried it. The new system aims to be more generous and transparent.
You can get up to 65% rewards in the form of a baseline rakeback up to 25% and up to 40% more in the form of Monthly Challenges. All formats earn the same points including high stakes cash games, sports and casino.
The rewards are all fixed value rather than random, as per the previous Chests programme. It will still be in the form of Chests which are Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Black respectively.
