Was this an ICM punt?
Dara O'Kearney and Barry Carter use Holdem Resources Calculator to look back at that infamous hand from the WPT World Championship.

All the way back last year, if you can remember that far, the World Poker Tour Championship exceeded all expectations. Not only was it one of the biggest events of the year, it also featured one of the most memorable hands of 2022.
Benny Glaser was a massive chip leader in the event and the rest of the table were mostly short stacks with 17BBs or fewer. So when he got dealt AJo he open shoved to put on the ICM pressure of a $300,000 pay jump.
Unfortunately for him, eventual winner Eliot Hudon woke up with Pocket Kings. Eliot was to his immediate left and the only other player with a big stack of 48 big blinds.
Was this an ICM punt or did Benny get unluckly making a solid power play? ICM expert Dara O'Kearney was joined by yours truly to break this hand down using Holdem Resources Calculator and discuss the broader implications of overshoving at big final tables.
