World Poker Tour Ladies
The WPT added a few new events which are solely dedicated towards women. The World Poker Tour Ladies offers tournaments with buy -ins of $300 - $1500. The WPT is therewith following a trend, which already started last year.
Back then many poker events have been directed
more towards women. A large number of womans-only-tournaments were integrated
into the known events. The World Poker Tour now wants to satisfy the ever
increasing interest of the female population in Poker by offering its own
event.
The WPTL Circuit is supposed to start January 20th
in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. It will have a $1.500
championship finale in the Bellagio. The final table is also supposed to be
broadcasted on TV. They will be playing No Limit Hold'em.
