Ladbrokespoker Joins Microgaming Network
The players on Ladbrokespoker had their own network so far. On Tuesday the poker room joined the Microgaming Network however, which drastically increased the amount of players for both parties.
Ladbrokespoker is part of Ladbrokes.com, one of the biggest British betting providers and up until recently, they offered their players a network of their own. This provided the players with the known advantages of sports betting providers: a lot of casual players who join the poker tables and are rather inexperienced in the game.
As of now, there is one more advantage: a lot more players. As a matter of fact, Ladbrokes clients find themselves on the same tables as the players of the Microgaming Network - which Unibet is also a member of, for instance - since last Tuesday.
This move now puts the network close to the top ten of biggest poker rooms with its average player count.
Only the dollar tables up to $2/$4 No-Limit Hold'em are still exclusive to Ladbrokespoker and the Euro tables up to €2/€4 are only shared between Ladbrokes and Unibet. In all other game types and on all tables starting with 3/6, the Ladbrokes players will meet the entire number of other players from the Microgaming network.

In January, Ladbrokespoker started offering a monthly promotion with one million dollar in prize money, all the way until April. The first 3,000 players are awarded between $20,000 and $50 every month.
