WPT Bellagio Cup V: 10 Players Left After Day 4

At the end of Day 4, only 10 players were left standing in the World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup V. Overnight chip leader Faraz Jaka had a really quiet Day 4 after running hot in the day before. His chip  stack remained pretty much stagnant, but he will still go in to Day 5 with a commanding chip lead of almost 1.7 million over second placed Justin Smith.

Day 4 started with just 31 runners and was just 4 eliminations away from the cash. Tommy Hang was the unlucky person who ended up as the bubble boy, he was eliminated at 28th place by Erik Seidel. In the hand, Hang had and went up against Seidel's . The board of was of no help to Hung, and he went home with nothing to show for his efforts.

Seidel (pictured left) followed up that early scalp with a big double up
through Alec Torelli later in the day. Spinella raised to 40,000 from
the cut-off, Faraz Jaka called at small blind. Seidel at big blind,
made it 120,000 and Torelli called while Jaka folded. The flop came
, and Seidel put another 140,000 into the pot, Torelli

Seidel led out for 350,000 after the turn came , Torelli again just

Torelli went into the tank for some time, then called after saying "maybe we have the same hands".

with . With that hand, Seidel was up to second place with over
2 million chips. He dropped some chips after that but still ended the day at 4th, and with a very good chance to enter his third WPT final table.

Jonathan Little (pictured right) did not have a good day at the office, he was eliminated at 30th place and did not finish in the money. In the hand that eliminated him, Little started with a relatively short stack and was put all-in pre-flop by Christopher Sonesson. With just against Sonesson's , Little needed help to stay in the game.

The flop of gave Jonathan a few extra outs in the form of a straight draw. The turn did not improve either hand, and the river paired Sonnesson's king, to knock the WPT Season 6 Player of The Year out of the Bellagio Cup.
