Both Allanon and Nazgul came through Day 2 unscathed and managed to grow their chip stacks significantly. PokerStrategists FA_Morgoth and Statistican will join them in Day 3.

Day 2 of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour in Prague started with 328 players, but only 95 survived the day. All the remaining players are close to the money and the top 80 will walk away with at least €8,000.

Allanon85" Drescher and Tim "Nazgul" Kahlmeyer were both in action today along with PokerStrategists Florian "fa_morgoth" Langmann, vedevas, Mark "gork" Gork, and statistican. Gork who started in the chip lead and vedevas did not make it through the day but the rest of them will return on Day 3.

Allanon and Nazgul ended the day with 201,400 and 147,600 chips respectively, putting them in a good position for Day 3. Meanwhile, FA_Morgoth with 107,600 chips and Statistician with 200,600 are also still very much in contention for a final table seat. The current chip average is at 184,000 and play will resume with the blinds at 1,500/3,000 with a 300 chip ante.

Allanon puts his opponent on tilt
For the first six hours of the day, we were not able to report on a single hand that Allanon85 had lost. In fact, he had managed to double his stack to more than 200,000 before the third level of play was over. The most interesting part of his day came with his hands against an Austrian guy that shall be known as the Crazy Austrian.
In both hands (see hands below), Allanon was the pre-flop aggressor and managed to get the villain to fold on the flop with more aggressive play. The Crazy Austrian blew his top after the second hand when Allanon showed his cards.
He jumped from the table, called Allanon a donkey and accused him of having bad manners. Allanon could do nothing but have a private chuckle about the situation. After these hands, Allanon's day quietened down, as he was only involved in a few small pots. His stack remained at around the 200,000 chips mark for the rest of the day.

Nazgul rides a roller-coaster
Nazgul started the day 56,200 chips which was at just about the chip average. He had a far trickier day and it was a roller-coaster ride which saw him go down to as low as 16,000 before eventually ending with 147,600 chips. The day didn't start well for him as he lost an all-in pot early on with A-K against A-A to find himself severely short-stacked.
Luck however, was on his side as he then managed to make a double up with J-9 after hitting a J on the flop against villain's A-8. A few hands later, he picked up Q-Q and shipped it on a T-T-6 board, and doubled up once again as he was called by 8-8. His day then came back on track as he hit a Q on the flop holding A-Q, this time villain had 9-9 and Nazgul was back up to about 100,000 chips.
The last big hand for him came right before the end of the day. He looked down K-K and decided to 3-bet the UTG open raiser, UTG called. The flop came 9-6-2 with 2 diamonds and the UTG made a pot-sized donk bet. Nazgul was confused but decided to push anyway. Villain had a pained expression on his face, thought about it but eventually folded his J-J.
