Big week for MaiseE

Leading the nosebleed players for the week, and month, is Swedish player MaiseE on PokerStars. Not much is known about this player, but his actions spoke for themselves this week, as he is up $546,076 in the last seven days alone, including a $344k day on Sunday.

This big week, which came mostly at the $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO tables, also puts him up $679,295 in the month of February - making him the current money leader for the month, at the time of writing.

Hasufly confirms RaiseOnce is Ivey?

Is Ivey "RaiseOnce"?

Last week, PokerStrategy.com Black Member hasufly made a very strong case for Phil Ivey being the infamous "RaiseOnce" on PokerStars.

In our exclusive German podcast interview, hasufly, who is a regular at the nosebleed tables and has played against both RaiseOnce on PokerStars, and Phil Ivey on Full Tilt, claimed that the RaiseOnce account has the same stats, timing tells, and standard lines at $1k/$2k fixed limit.

He also suggested that RaiseOnce was formerly a shared account, but now is only used by Ivey.

Biggest pot of the week

PokerStrategy.com coach jenskyllonen is the big winner this week, shipping a $251,815.60 pot on PokerStars, under the screen name "Jeans89". At the same time, Black Member mtw-davin (big time) and coach tsubi (a little) have to suffer in this huge pot.

Biggest winners and losers of the week

As we mentioned earlier, the unknown Swede MaiseE is the big winner from the last seven days, and month, with over half a million in winnings. PokerStrategy.com coach tsubi came in on third place, netting almost 300k. Luckily for the players at the other end of the scale, nobody incurred losses quite as big, the biggest loser being Zypherin, who dropped $264k.
