WCOOP Week 1 - the latest
See who the big winners are so far and, more importantly, how your WCOOP Fantasy League team is doing!
The World Championship of Online Poker is now in full flow and several life-changing scores have already been awarded.
The biggest prize so far came in the $10,300 High Roller where 'Skaiwalkurrr' used his Jedi Mind Tricks to beat 184 other players to the $367,001 first prize.
By contrast the biggest field so far has been a whopping 33,835 in the $5.50 PKO event, won by 'baggelis26' for $8,011
There are two players to watch based on the early going. 'nilsef' of Germany won two events that started on Monday, taking down the $1,050 NLO8 for $45,795 and also the $2,100 Win The Button event for $79,352.
The other player to watch, and this will make some of our WCOOP Fantasy League players very happy, is Russian online grinder 'aDrENalin710' who also has taken down two events so far this series (and made four final tables in total). He won the $109 PLO event on the opening night for $31,824 and the $2,100 Razz event for $49,595. At the time of writing he leads the overal WCOOP leaderboard.
Bet on the KOs
With so many runners in each event it's tough to create betting markets for a series like WCOOP but BetStars have found a fun one. You can bet on which Team PokerStars Pro will end the series with the most knockouts.

Fantasy League Latest
As mentioned earlier, anyone with 'aDrENalin710' in their team should be jumping for joy, as he not only boasts the most points but also four final tables, so at the time of writing he already has 535 points in our WCOOP Fantasy League.
But there is still a lot of WCOOP to go around and many of our draft picks have already notched up a final table apiece. It looks like non-hold'em events could prove decisive in this league.
His leaderboard points had not been updated in time but if Jeff Gross was your Team PokerStars Pro, he made the final table of the $10,300 event for $14,337, so expect a healthy injection of points for him.
