Michael Addamo wins the Purple Jacket
Back-to-back wins in the biggest buy-in events of the Poker Masters meant that the Australian won the coveted Purple Jacket.
Michael Addamo is currently regarded by many as the best tournament player in the world and he has just strengthened that claim.
He won the final two events of the Poker Masters to leapfrog to the top of the leaderboard and win the coveted 'Purple Jacket' for the best player of the high roller series.
He won the $50,000 event for $680,000 followed by the $100,000 Main Event for $1,160,000. On top of the jacket he won an additional $50,000 for topping the leaderboard.
