CoinPoker GOPC Keeps Smashing Guarantees

CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) delivered its biggest week yet, paying out $14.41 million during the latest full week of action.

Highlights included two $5,200 High Rollers, a record-setting Weekender field and one satellite qualifier who turned a $15 seat into a remarkable 1,397x return.

Since launching on August 23, the Global Online Poker Championship has already generated more than $44 million in payouts, with participation now passing the one-million-entry mark.

CoinPoker’s biggest online tournament series to date is only one part of the room’s wider push.

Fresh additions such as K-Poker, the Daily Dollar and the upcoming The One are giving regular players more formats, more tournament targets and additional ways to find value beyond the GOPC itself.

GOPC Week 3 by the Numbers

The third week of GOPC action pushed the scale of the series to another level.

By September 13, 22 days into the festival, CoinPoker had paid out $44.52 million across all tournaments. Total participation had also pushed beyond the one-million-entry mark for the first time.

Week 3 Delivers $14.41M in Payouts

The latest full week became the biggest stretch of the GOPC so far. CoinPoker paid out $14.41 million across 1,166 tournaments, with 381,071 entries from 25,753 players.

Prize pools also remained well ahead of expectations. Of 434 guaranteed events, 384 beat their guarantees. Those events paid approximately $13.85 million against $11.74 million in advertised guarantees, finishing around $2.11 million above target.

Big Weekender Breaks Field Record

The $125 Big Weekender Final set a new field record with 4,621 entries, pushing the prize pool to $531,415.

That represented a clear jump from the previous week’s $480,239 prize pool. ChampagneLove took the title and $73,033, while drupswing7 won the $55 Weekender Final for $31,980 from a $250,015 prize pool.

Drtonipe Wins Four Titles in One Week

One of the standout performances came from Drtonipe, who captured four LATAM-window titles in just seven days:

The run produced 40 podium points, the highest single-week total recorded in the GOPC at that stage.

Satellite Qualifier: $15 Into $20,968

Satellite qualifiers continued to deliver some of the strongest value stories of the series. Nicoyamx turned a $15 satellite entry into $20,968, producing a remarkable return of around 1,397x the original cost.

Sepp went even bigger in absolute terms, converting a $530 satellite seat into $47,080 with a runner-up finish in the $5,200 PLO Freestyle High Roller. That became the largest cash from a satellite seat in the GOPC up to that point.

VVsMolly completed another huge conversion by winning the $1,050 POWERJAM High Roller PKO after qualifying through a $109 satellite. The victory paid $38,566, equal to roughly 354 times the original satellite entry.

Mosböck Wins the High Roller

Sunday’s high-stakes schedule also produced two major results. CoinPoker partner Mario Mosböck topped a 57-entry field in the $5,200 Gold Standard High Roller, collecting $87,780 from a $285,000 prize pool.

The result helped Mosböck finish second on the latest money list, with $97,729 in total cashes from only nine events. Around half an hour later, BevyOfBlank captured the $5,200 PLO Freestyle High Roller for $72,440.

The PLO professional has previously appeared on streams alongside fellow CoinPoker player Dirk Gerritse.

CoinPoker Success Reaches Triton Jeju

The CoinPoker connection extended beyond the online tables during the same period.

Mosböck highlighted the run of Reda Achnit, who reached the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju after winning his way there through a CoinPoker freeroll satellite.

Achnit was making his live tournament debut in the $25,000 event and went on to finish 14th from 131 entries for $51,000. His tournament eventually ended at the hands of CoinPoker partner Seth Davies, who continued even deeper and reached the final table before finishing fifth for $226,000.

For CoinPoker, the result provided another example of how its satellite ecosystem can connect low-cost online qualification with major live tournament opportunities.

GOPC Leaders Take Shape

After three weeks of action, the overall GOPC leaderboards are becoming much clearer. MaGuardaTeLaPower moved ahead of FlawlessVictory on the series money list with $212,827 in total cashes. Two victories in $530 Gold Tour events helped push the player into the top spot.

The Podium Race remains controlled by Yafish, who extended the lead to 86 points and remains comfortably ahead of the chasing pack.

FINALVERDICT7 Wins the Next CoinMillion

As the next GOPC week began on September 13, the CoinMillion produced another record-sized field. FINALVERDICT7 entered Day 2 in 10th place before completing the comeback and winning the tournament for $123,979.

The event attracted 5,321 entries, setting another new benchmark for CoinPoker’s $1 million guaranteed flagship.

Main Event Giveaway: Round Four

CoinPoker’s Main Event Giveaway has moved into its fourth round, adding another free route toward the championship action. To enter, players need to comment with their region and tag two friends for a chance to win one of three $55 satellite tickets.

It is a simple social promotion, but another useful route for smaller bankrolls to get closer to the GOPC Main Event without paying the full qualification cost.

Bigger GOPC Targets Still Ahead

The GOPC schedule is far from finished. Week 4 brings another set of Gold Tour Knockout Bounty Tournaments events, including:

Week 5 then raises the stakes again. The CoinMasters BITCOIN guarantee climbs to $500,000, while the schedule also features the $25,500 Super High Roller Championship with $1 million guaranteed on September 22.

With several of the biggest championship events still ahead, the second half of the GOPC has plenty of major prize pools and high-stakes action left to come.
