[Geschlossen] Elephant Installationsprob

Hallo Malcolmx443,

deinstallier mal bitte den Elephant und schau dann in der Systemsteuerung ob noch sowas wie Visual C oder .Net Framework installiert ist. Wenn ja, alles deinstallieren.

Auch postgreSQL nochmal nach dieser Anleitung entfernen, falls installiert.

How-To: Deinstallation von PostgreSQL

Achte auch darauf, dass du alle Reste vom Elephant entfernst, unter XP z.b. unter C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/Windows Benutzername/Anwendungsdaten - /Lokale Einstellungen.

Diese Ordner sind nur sichtbar, wenn du dir versteckte Dateien und Ordner anzeigen lässt. (Optionen -> Ordneroptionen -> Ansicht).

Unter Vista / Win 7 wäre der Pfad: C/Users/Windows Benutzername/Appdata/Local.

Danach rebooten und den Elephant zuerst neu installieren.

Die postgreSQL Installationsdatei findest du dann im Elephant Ordner.

Unter Vista / Win 7 den Elephant auch als Administrator ausführen!

An Visual C oder Framework könnts liegen...

Hab übrigens alles deinstalliert, was ging. PostgreSQL war schon runter, Visual C und Framework ist komplett runter durch Softwaredeinstallation in der Systemsteuerung + Löschen nach Nutzen der Suchfunktion.
Alles, was noch mit dem Elephant zu tun hatte, kam auch runter, Papierkorb geleert, PC neu gestartet, Elephant, Framework, Visual C und PostgreSQL neu installiert --> gleiches Problem: Fehlerhafte Anwendungskonfiguration

ich hatte auch früher den elephant, dann irgendwann kam der festplattencrash, jetzt will ich den elephant wieder installieren, aber wenn ich versuche, eine neue datenbank anzulegen, dann kommt ne meldung von wegen "failed to connect to 127.0.0.1"... vor der neuinstallation hatte ich ne trial von pt3 und das postgresql hab ich vor der installation vom elephant mit der systemsteuerung entfernt und dann mit der file aus m elephant ordner installiert.

Hey EmcC,

ich habe dir über das Community Modul eine Nachricht geschickt, ich schau mir das mal an.

Eine Woche rumprobieren, Problem immer noch vorhanden.

Ich hab jetzt so ziemlich alles ausprobiert, was man ausprobieren konnte.
Da der Elephant vorher schonmal installiert war, hab ich allles runtergeschmissen was auch nur entfernt mit ihm zu tun hatte (postgreSQL, Framework, VisualC, Elephant-Dateien) und nochmal installiert, was schon sehr zeitaufwendig war --> gleiche Fehlermeldung (Fehlerhafte Anwendungskonfiguration).

Wieder alles runtergeschmissen --> Ältere Elephant Version installiert --> Fehlerhafte Anwendungskonfiguration

Nochmal alles wirklich restlos runtergeschmissen (Mit Suchprogramm alles rausgesucht was auch nur entfernt etwas mit den entsprechenden Progs zu tun hatte und gelöscht) --> Wieder neue Version installiert --> Fehlerhafte Anwendungskonfiguration.

Mittlerweile bin ich wirklich ratlos

Ist dein Betriebssystem auf dem neuesten Stand? Updates? Service Packs?

Daran könnts liegen - Bis jetzt weigere ich mich standhaft Service Pack 3 für WinXP zu installieren - früher hats aber auch so funktioniert. Ist das zwingend notwendig?

Edit: Habs eben in den SysAnforderungen gesehen. Jetzt werd ich mich wohl überwinden müssen und den Mist doch installieren

habe auch das gleiche Problem. Der Elefant will sich nicht installieren lassen. Habe diesen jedoch vor einem Jahr benutzt auf dem selben Rechner und nun nach der Neuinstallation will das Setup nicht durchlaufen.

Zum Problem selbst, hast du überprüft ob alte Reste komplett entfernt wurden bevor du eine neue Version installieren wolltest?
