Play has started, not too much happened to both our guy's stacks yet. 41 left and they will try to complete this event today.

BongBob

Jonathan Little

I spotted Carlos Mortensen on BongBob's table, will get pics of the other faces I recognize in a while

BongBob was down to less than 200k chips but managed to make a super sweet double up.

blinds are now 6k/12k/2k nd BongBob has around 400k chips. Just 36 left now

The double up came after two hands against the same player.

BongBob opened from UTG, villain 3-bet from BB and BongBob folds.

BongBob opened again now from UTG+1, villain 3-bet again from SB and BongBob shoves, villain snap called.

QQ vs 88 and the board came A A 5 K 2

Bucherl Loses Big One to Chinni

Posted 7 minutes ago by donpeters

This hand ran over into the break for a few minutes, but it was a big one.

Jonathan Durand raised to 30,000 from the cutoff seat and then Jesse Chinni reraised to 68,000 from the button. Konstantin Bucherl made it 140,000 from the small blind and then Durand tank-folded after action got back to him. Chinni moved all in for 368,000 and Bucherl called.

Bucherl:
Chinni:

The board ran out and Chinni was able to spike an ace on the river to win the hand and crippled Bucherl.Chip Counts
Jesse Chinni 790,000 450,000
Konstantin Bucherl 60,000 -350,000

Yeap, saw that hand but had to wait to post it.

BongBob was down to around 5bb after that, but quickly doubled up with KT vs AQ not long after the break. Has just over 10bb now.

btw we're down to the final 3 tables, 23 left.

blinds 8k/16k/2k

21 left, BongBob still in with about 250k chips

Blinds are up to 10k/20k/3k

BongBob doubled up right after I posted the last update. He picked up AA, got it in against JJ and hit a set on the flop.

JonathanLittle is also still in with under 200k chips. Saw him lost a huge all in with A3 vs A2, not sure how it developed

Via PokerNews:

Konstantin Bucherl found himself all in preflop against Cary Katz.
Bucherl:
Katz:
The board ran out to see Bucherl exit in 20th place for a $27,442 payday as Katz moves to roughly 800,000 in chips.

Jonathan Little found a double for his last 86,000 when his held true against Carlos Mortensen's .
The board ran out to see Little improve to a set, but his new-found chips would be short-lived as he would be eliminated by Sean LeFort a few moments later.
