I tried many times. It just wouldn't happen. I also couldn't see the hands from my tournaments when I would go in data view. Etc. And I do know how to get around softwares lol so I know that if there is something that I'm doing wrong, it's really not obvious.
Yeah I was wondering how you got your graphs to start below zero lol.
Hope HEM2 works better for you.
cheers Gordy
Haha it's actually way better than HM1 in my opinion.
Red spade open today woot! Anyone else playing it? I got in with a good 3200FPPs and made an extra $66 by winning 6/11 of 235FPP sunday storm satellites heh. Ran pretty good though ![]()

I run good in the red spade open haha (not so great when in the money :P)

So I ran pretty bad Monday through Friday (break even). But yesterday and today was great ♦ made $600 and am actually believing again that I can have a $2000 BR by the end of the month.
This is the graph of today and yesterday. Has mostly $2.50 180s, with some 235FPPs and that $138 cash at the red spade open.

So today I ran into a downswing but played enough to get through it and still make $70. I now withdrew $170.42.
BR => $1500
I've not long been reading your blog but so far I think it's awesome. I usually prefer blogs which have some form of personal background to them but the content in this one seems to keep me wrapped. I guess it could be that I've never really read a blog which has a main focus of 180man MTTs.
Some questions I'd love to be answered:
- How do you play at the many different stages of a 180man MTT?
- Why have you chosen to play them?
I know that the first one can't really be answered in a short and simple sentence so would it be a possibility that, if you have enough time, we could Skype and let me watch you play for an hour or so (or something like that)?
Thanks and I hope it's not too much to ask.
So have you given up on the 45's then? I have played against you on the 45's(well I have 170 hands on you anyway). My sn is ipeaceonu22, I just stick to grinding the 3.50's as I always put in a bad session as soon as I move to the 7's. Anyway, GL with everything.
i have read your blog!
Thanks for reading ![]()

I don't have a lot of personal background because I covered a little bit of that in my other Cash game blog that I used to update. I go to school, play music, play poker and get drunk ♦ good enough? At 180 mans, you don't even need postflop play to make money lol. Perfect your push/fold and you'll make some. But when you want to make good money, yea there are things that will make plays that are +EV even more +EV but push/fold is #1! I even see supernova reg just open shoving AQ+/QQ+, maybe JJ, with 1500 chips at 10/20 level lol. He doesn't play much at the $2.50 anymore though. I'm guessing he just opens a couple up when the others aren't running to much.
I chose to play them because I used to make money with them, then they kicked my ass. I like to be able to beat something I couldn't beat in the past. Now I make money with them so I'm sticking to the 180s.

Pretty much
Maybe I'll go back to them if I get a little bored of 180 mans and decide to switch it up a bit though. And yea me too I would lose at $7, hopefully it won't be the same with $8 180 mans. I also said above though that I like to go back and beat something that beat me, so I'll be going back eventually
Today was a reality check. I don't think I've finished 3rd this many times EVER. Time to practise some ICM I guess. Maybe a little coaching wouldn't hurt either. At least I finished with a tiny profit, even though it brought my 40% ROI down to 33 ![]()
There is a plus side though, I'm 7 points away from platinum on pokerstrategy lol. Going to be able to watch those sunday million vids right on time for the $215 6 million on march 11th

Thanks guys
First $3.50R/$8 session didn't go so well. I'm under $300 and on top of that, HM2 doesn't show the actual results for $3.50R lol. It only shows the $3.50 that you used to sign up, not rebuys. Does anyone know how to fix this? It says that my winning are ~$350 and my net winning ~$270, I played about 30 so yea just to show that it doesn't count the rebuys
Decided to play some $3.50 STT today because of my short window of time that I had to play tonight. I played 26 games. Ran terrible lol.
Net winnings: -$39.84
$EV: $47.60
I had to pay for band practise today with pretty much the rest of the money I withdrew lol. So now I'm withdrawing more!
BR: $1000
This is why I called it early today and lost $270 ![]()

But going to lazertag tomorow! ♦ I can't remember the last time I went to lazertag.
I actually started thinking that I had to go down to the $3.50 45 mans again lol!
Bankroll
Sunday --> $1000
Tuesday --> $500!!!! Only by playing $2.50 180 mans
Wednesday (Today) --> Decided to find my major leak and fix it... $1085 ♠_cool:
Here are the graphs of Winnings and BB ever since I bought HM2 (I think like 1.5-2 weeks ago? I don't even know it's in this blog somewhere)

I actually found this picture in a blog on pokerstrategy lol
Got in the sunday 6 million through a 4500FPP hyper-turbo satellite
I actually played against 2 pokerstars pros/SNE lol. Kind of a first step to becoming a big poker player.
Today is the last day of spring break... I might need 2 energy drinks for this one ![]()
I'll see you on the tables!
