This is completely cancled out in the long run by you calling their raises IP with low PPs (provided they arent much better at folding overpairs or extracting max value when they hit, which at nl2 I'd doubt they would be.) What isn't cancled out however is the extra EV you can generate vs fish playing full stacked.

If it keeps going down like that I won't be moving to nl4 soon. Not only it eats the BR, it also affects my play. It's hard to play my best when my last 5 sessions are minus $$.

Hey whats up! I just finished playing 4 hour session, sat at 4 tables at max. Had only 4 allins in 440 hands. Which is kinda strange for me. All the 4 allins were +EV - even more strange ♦

That sounds more like it.
The graf also looks more as it should.

Homework for next 2 days.
1) include "allinev" in the graf and stats.
2) Watch at least 1 video. There is a very nice SSS video about taking notes -- just not sure if you qualify- if possible watch the video otherwise watch Suba's series on MSS. Yes i know it is basic but I think you need reminding about where to start (the basic chart) and not where to go beyond the chart.
3) Actively try to make notes on players especially when a hand, which you did not play, goes to showdown.

1. See my overall graph, the red line is the EV graph. I just don't want to mess all SD, EV, profit, nonsd, rakeback graphs in one pic.
2. I watch them a lot + listen to Russian interviews with famous pokerstrategy members like eleph, MaxSMirn, etc They always give useful advice for beginners.
3. There are only like 5-10 good regular players in my hm database with solid strategy and I hardly ever play pots with them.
Week players always change their strategy - yesterday he was 90vpip/0pfr, today he is 50vpip/35pfr, etc.
I used to make notes last year when I was playing FL. And in most cases those notes were alive for 1-2 days at the most, then players started doing the oppoiste to what's written in their note. And the notes only made me lose. So notes - NOOOOO ♠_mad:, ABC tight play vs fish - YEEEESS ♠_thumbsup:

my god man. with all these charts and graphs and stats and EVERRYTHING else that i dont know how to use or install lol....you should be CRUSHING this limit. most players on this limit dont care..simple as that, and you just take thier money usually when you have all the supposed knowledge you have. i want to know how to better use my elephant to post charts, graphs and my and opponents play stats on my blog as well, so my friends here at PS can help me out in my journey, so im gonna go try to find an elephant instructional video now. maybe you'll take a looksee at my blog and help me out as well! I've definately fallen into the trap of not caring at these low limits, and ive lost about 200 or so just a VERY rough estimate..over the last few months because of absolutely careless play.

Anyways, now that I have my tilt under control (for now) I seem to be caring about my money more, and trying my best to make +EV plays all the time, instead of trying to win back what I lost because of stupid pushes or calls.

If you havent noticed already, I have enough poker knowledge to crush the NL2, but its been tilt and carelessness thats holding me back from advancing in this game, but I have this philosophy:
"If you can't beat NL2, you can't beat any limit."
So I will force myself to continue to work up my small roll for now, and wont take a shot at the NL5 (pokerstars has no NL4) until I get like $75-100 in my roll. But i'm still not 100% sure I will even do that, because it seems whenever I listen to PS.com's advice, I come out winning my sessons. When I start taking shots at higher limits w/o sufficient bankrol, i lose a bit, i go on tilt and lose it all and im back @ square 1.....so maybe i have to reevaluate whether i wanna move up or not until i hit $125...

Ok I've spent 11 more hours since the last update and played 1157 more hands
Had some really stupid badbeats and coolers, especially in the last session. Some player called my AA 30bb 3bet shove with 66 and hit his 2 outer on the flop Another guy hits his gutshot on turn and check/calls my 1/2 pot shove And of course preflop kings ran into aces, jacks into queens, etc

Sorry for not updating you the whole month. I had a terrible start and couldn't climb over $0EV profit for like 20 days. Didn't want to disappoint you with my results, I hope you understand.
While playing MSS in January I was thinking about switching to BSS at some point. So I decided why not to give it a shot right now. If I don't like it I can always switch back to MSS and start humiliating those nl2 fishies as I did in January. So I've spent the whole month playing BSS. The beginning was very hard for me. I played the same aggressive-maniacal MSS style with 100bb Lost $10 in the first 4k hands before I understood that turn/river play differs A LOT from MSS. In MSS it's usually a simple shove because your stack is like 50% of the pot size, so you need only 34% equity to make a profitable call. But in BSS you are not committed to the pot on turn/river and that makes it so hard for a former MSS player with 0 BSS experience. OK I won't tell you how exactly I managed to make a comeback turning -13evbb/100 winrate into 9evbb/100 by the end of the month I just kept playing trying my best and evaluating every session after it's played.

Yeah I also took shots at nl4. The reason for this - I needed to generate $50 rake asap or my starting $50 from pokerstrategy would expire. I managed to complete it in time and I didn't quit nl4 after the achievement but kept playing there too. The nl4 is same soft as nl2 from what I've seen. So I think beating nl4 won't be a problem when my BR reaches it.

Aims for March:
completely move to nl4 and start taking shots at nl10
reach Gold status on pokerstrategy
