Ugh.. tough weekend behind me. I visited casino with some friend and busted ~250$. Roulette and blackjack are the way to go. On roulete my first 4 spins were on black/red/odd/even. All missed :f_cry:

Later the pretty lady on bj table ran so sick we couldn't do a thing. 20,19, 21, blackjack. Fuuuu give me my moniez. Well, busto in 1 hour. At least I got a free beer. We decided not to worry about money and we hit som pubs/clubs. Almost got into fight but luckily somehow we avoided that.

Casino not for me, that's for sure. Playing -EV games is definitely not the thing I want to do. At least we had a bit of fun. We decided that if we come up with similar idea in the futer it would be better to give it to poor children.

After 4h of sleep I forced myself to play a session. I struggled a lot with playing and managed to play only 4h session. I'm happy that I played a session after all. It went not too good. Only 2xFT with 3 and 6 place. I was running fine, but lost some key spots mostly by running into top range. Couldn't crack aces that evening ;) Today is the day for another session. I hope to play my A-game and print loads of money _evil:

Hey man,
180 Mans are sick things. i dont want to be mean, but u should check other player graphs. Swings can be really massive, just keep it in mind and grind a lot.

Yeah, I know swings can be sick. That's why I think 300 BI is absolute minimum for these games. Unfortunately I don't have enough time (working full time) to make as much volume as I'd like but well.. what to do :P

As I said, it was one time Playing twice a week I manage to play around 600 sng. If I'm able to add 2 more sessions per month, it should be ~800. Not much but satisfying.

Yesterday I FTed quite a lot but nothing better than 2x3rd. I mean, the game was fine, got lucky early on but again, mostly card dead or heavy action in front of me when I had a good hand for first in. The sickest one was AK>AQ>KK 4 left for 200k pot. I'm far from whining, actually I'm not loosing so nothing to worry about. But I was not happy about my play. Probably too tight in some spots. Definitely I need to make the session review. I'm getting too used to winning instead of just playing my best game. Work on it!

Graph so far:

Thx sir :)

Currently not much time for playing, so I'm simply not playing. On saturday I have a running competition for 8km. Performed good training for the last two weeks so I hope I can break 4:15/km. The loop is quite hilly so it won't be as easy as it sounds like.

I guess the nearest session is as usuall on sunday. I was planning to play yesterday but champions league effectively didn't let me to Real - CSKA was quite boring. Of course there were some nice actions (CSKA goal was the best) but overall Real didn't play at its best. Pity I couldn't watch Chelsea-Napoli match, must have been crazy. Exciting rollercoaster for their fans :)

So it looks like I'm gonna play my next session on sunday, as usual. I've been working away from the tables for past few days and developed some ideas which I plan to mercilesly use on my opponents mwahahah ?(

During last week I managed to put up only one session, which again was going ok, made a good amount of FTs and ITMs but couldn't get HU. 1x3, 1x4 1x7 and several mincashes was all I could get.

Now I'm working on some interesting topics like resteals, when min raise > push, and which is better when estimating opponent push ranges: to tighten the range or to widen, which approach is more profitable regarding situation.
Trying to figure out the most efficient way for estimating ranges. Of course working on my own pushing ranges is more important but still, this is definitely good place for some edge.

So far I've played ~350 games this month. Not much but I will manage to reach the minimum of 600 games. Recently I don't even have time for Hyper turbos and I'm struggling to stick to my normal schedule. Sunny weekends are evil for poker players, so much easier to grind in winter :)

Hi guys, long time no see..

I'm on a medical leave this week, so having some rest from everydays rat race. Something cracked in my spine during football match but nothing serious, I'm able to grind from yesterday

I didn't want to keep my lazy ass on the couch so yesterday I put up 7h session with my personal best volume per day which is 106 games. Finally after 3 weeks I managed to get to HU twice, one won, one lost. Shame I couldn't get anything more than 5th place from my other FTs but well, poker. Ended up with some decent profit.

On tuesday and wednesday I started to write my own java application to parse hand histories in the way I'd like to. In HM I set up a filter, for example [hero stack 10BB, Early position, action pf: raise first in, allin pf: yes]. Such filter will display hands where I push from early and get called. Then, I export filtered hands to txt file, load this file to my app and extract what is the percentage of ranges that call me. I'm planning to develope it to cover more detailed information but I will need a good amount of free time.

I have 498 180 mans played this month, so today I need to play 102 games to achieve my minimum plan for march which is 600 games.

Cheers :f_grin:

WTF is this shit, todays session was a disaster

I'm happy how I handled all these bad beats and coolers. I got nervous only two or three times, while running into AA ITM. Miracously I managed to get 2nd once and ended with -45 BI.

Played 800 games this month, with 600 180 mans.

Profit... no profit :( -47$ and on 180 mans +51$ with ROI=3,5%

I'l post a graph tommorow, because today I ran of my free searches :)

Hey, I saw you at the tables (Estonian, right?) :)

Point about volume is vital for sure, but working full time it's not that easy. I think I will have to look forward to increasing the number of tables, but I just can't get used to playing in stack, and I don't think I can fit more than 15 tables tile on my 22'' monitor.. Any ideas?

Yeahhhh finally good day. A bit pissed because starts paused SNGs so from my planned session of 100 sngs I played only 40.. but well, nothing I can do.

At least I made a decent profit and my graph is starting to go up again after a short BE period :)

What do you think about such hand:

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4,000(BB) Replayer
SB ($35,974)
BB ($28,057)
UTG ($24,714)
UTG+1 ($25,396)
Hero ($60,353)
MP1 ($9,106)
CO ($56,510)
BTN ($29,890)

Dealt to Hero A♠ 7♣

fold, fold, Hero ???

Guys are pretty tight, and my only concern is big stack. IMO this is PUSH, big stack should be sooo tight in this spot (I see max AQ and TT call). If MP1 calls their ranges become even slighlty tighter IMO so pushing seems fine I think.

Graph
:

(Can anyone please do one search for me once a month, so I could post monthly graph? I would greatly appriciate it!!)

Hey man,
I had same thing with pokerstars, that is usual shit there. Lukily i had played 202 sng by that moment, so it werent bad for me. 40 out of 100 is bad, i hate these interaptions during a session.

About that hand: I wouldnt push, why? Cause risk reward is too small. U both have big stacks, if u lose 56k then u are out of game, so why risk with whole game? Answer, dont. Just raise and fold vs big stack and call small ones. I sometimes can even fold to BB ship when i have big sample and he is real NIT. I prefere shipping just when the blinds are going up and big stack is aggro.
GL :]
