I highly doubt it to be honest.If you look at 2:52 when Hayes swinging the tripod he smacks his trainer Booth with the tripod ♦ Bit over the top for a staged fight me thinks.Also Adam booth said in an interview Haye wouldnt come out of retirement for a Chisora fight so I see no motive in a staged fight.
No didnt invest in one yet.Just waiting on another 1.2k fpp on stars for an amazon voucher which will probably be about another week. Quick update pretty crazy weekend,ended up going to a friends going away party last night.Highlights of the night included drinking my taxi money,which always seems like a great idea at the time Ended up having to jog home at about 4am which resulted in my digested late night snack ending up on the pavement on route home ♠_o: Manage to catch the maidana and alexander fight which wasnt too exciting. missed UFC 144 so will be playing catch up tomorrow.UFC never seems to let me down when it comes down to excitement
As for poker decided to retire in the 9man stts for now anyway.Have decided to move to 18mans and give them a try.The transition is going well so far.Not too much difference to the 9mans. Just have to work on my push/fold with 7 - 9 players on the table. Having a few tricky spots on deciding to push or fold in early position with many players behind, which you usually dont find too often in 9mans.Im off to catch some Zzz as I have to be up at 8am

Is it me, or are going away parties the only thing we "celebrate" in this country anymore?! One Saturday night in my local town as recent as last month there was a whopping ELEVEN different parties for people leave Ireland! ELEVEN! The population of the town is about 5k to! Incredible how things have changed.
Sorry to HJ your blog btw, glad to see that your move to 18m is going well. I am sure you will be able to adjust to the P/F very soon and starting crushing big time!

Ya everyone seems to be heading south to the land down under Im an opportunist though so it doesnt matter if the glass is half full or half empty,theres a glass of drink to be drank at these parties is the main thing On a serious note though ya its sad really to see so many people leaving,be interesting to see the figures for people immigrating out of the country,guessing it be pretty high

Another month in the bag and a few dollars richer ♠_biggrin: As stated above finally decided to move to the 18mans on stars.Still have some work to do on my game and also adjusting to the new regs. Basically the last 500 games of the graph for the month are 18s
Non adjusted ROI is 5.9%. As for the EV difference cant complain too much really.As the old saying goes you cant miss something you never had 
BR currently sits at just over 1k. Want to play a few hundred more games at the 7s to help polish off my 18man game and then move up to the 15s ♦
Looking forward to finishing off college in May hopefully with a degree and dedicating my time to poker.At present Im only getting in roughly 1k games a month give or take a few.Ideally Id like to get in 2.5k - 3k games a month 12 tabling(currently 8 tabling). Playing 15s at this rate SuperNova 100k is easily achievable. Also plan on hopefully investing in a desktop and monitor over the next few months for my poker set up. A 15.6inch laptop doesnt cut it unfortunately 
For now Il just have to settle for investing in a new mouse ♦

Full steam ahead with the 15s as of now.First day playing strictly 15s up a couple BI nothing too spectacular.Noticed alot more regs than the 7s,maybe it was just the time I was playing. Was recently introduced to Neil deGrasse Tyson thanks to Joe Rogans Podcast.(Highly recommend listening to his podcast if you already dont http://www.joerogan.net/ ) The guys on a whole other level imo. Man, I will always remember you with these inspirational videos! Most of them are pretty good, don't get me wrong. Fully switched to 18-man? If so- I think it's a good move. These games will hardly ever become unprofitable. What volume do you have so far on them?

Always got to find something to keep up that motivation ♦ Yep fully switched to 18mans. Samples still pretty small only about 1500games ATM. Wont be putting in big volume till after college in May. The norm seems to be 7 - 10% for regs at the 15s,and then you get some sickos like push0rdie with 15% ROI at the 30s over a sample of 13k games
Pretty depressing looking at the volume for the month which was the result of too many college assignments/too much partying/too much sun/too many disconnections. Oh well what you gonna do. Had problems with disconnections every few minutes from stars the last 3 - 4 days which was pretty tilting.Seems Iv got it fixed now though. Volumes probably gonna be bad till May until I finish up college. Then its all about that can’t stop, won’t stop mentality chasing the $ and more importantly the dream. Plan on running for Supernova and increasing volume to 2.5k -3k games a month from May onwards. So heres the graph.Ev line doesn't work properly for multi table sng.Plus side to this is no more stressing of running below EV etc and all that shit just got to focus on always trying to improve.
Still lifting Iron in the gym with some nice progress. Put up a couple of Kgs since January and deadlifted 2x5 100kg with relative ease the other day. Going to start cutting in May with some HIIT training a couple of days a week. Plan on going back playing rugby aswell. Gonna head back during pre season to get in shape. Stopped playing when I was about 14.Just wasn’t dedicated to it at the time. Had more Interest in drinking/partying at the time, which to be honest was a lot of fun as well. ♦ Going to give 100% to it this time and push myself to full potential in the game.
Not sure where I heard the story think it could have been a Joe Rogan podcast about an MMA trainer or someone but basically the trainer would ask people who wanted him to train them do you see yourself as a future world champion in the sports? If you even had a sense of doubt he said you haven’t a hope in hell in the sports. The reason why was because the opponents you are going to be facing in the ring can see themselves as a world champion. Not only that but they’re also going to be hungry, and fighting to become a world champion.
This story always sticks in the back of my head when I do anything in life be it be poker, sports or whatever. I truly believe whatever you do in Life you should give it a 100%. I think its especially true for anything competitive with opponents like poker for instance. Your always going to have guys working real hard striving to be the best in the game. That’s one of the main reasons I can never see myself being a rakeback pro.(not that I have anything against rakeback pros, must be real tough dealing with the swings sometimes) and Il always strive to keep improving my game to increase my win rate because the best out there are always pushing themselves to improve their game. If someone else out there can crush the game so hard whats the difference between him and you? Work ethic is the only thing I think. And anyone can work as hard as the next guy if they push themselves so there is no excuse to not strive to be one of the best in the game. Eric Thomas put it best:

Not much to say really.Pokers pretty much at a stand still this month thanks to a 12 day trip to London and trying to get past the last hurdle of college.Just mostly focusing on college work at the moment and exams next month. The barrel of a gun to the head sounds pretty tasty right about now ♦ Be lucky to hit 500 games this month. Hopefully the last month of college for me so cant complain too much
Just finished watching a documentary of Dewey Bozella.Remember watching his Arthur Ashe award and pro fight a few months back.Basically he was wrongly convicted of murder and spent 26 years in prison, never giving up hope before finally being released a free man. 26 years of his life taken yet still so humble and held no grudges against the district attorneys. A combination of run bad, withdrawals($300) and 2 disconnections($300) over the last week has tranformed a $2500 bankroll to a measly $1300 Why me,Im the unluckiest person alive etc etc. Whatever we all have sob stories who gives a shit. ♦ Still grinding out the $15 18mans on stars for now.Will leave it at that for now, be back in a few days with some goals for June/Summer. ♠_biggrin:

Balance is important indeed, but I'd say when summer's so short, and you just finished your exams, having the balance weighted in favour of "the wrong thing"(being out in the sun, possibly some drinking) probably isn't a terrible thing short term.
Eventually the tables need to be hit, of course!
