VladimirN: April Reviewed & May Goals

I got a plan. Since I don't want to wait whole next month in order to buy 1500$ bonus, I'll try to reach 107,143 WH points until the end of the month. I need precisely that much for the 1500$ bonus.
In order to accomplish that, I will need to average 10,563 WH points for the remaining 5 days.

As well, on top of that I will get 1 extra gemstone and a placement on the rake-race leader board (100$).

To put it short, that will be hell. I will have to play around 150 of 20s and 30s mixed, which will take me roughly 6-7 hours a day.
I picked DoNs because they require less strict BRM (BR is not good enough for normal SnGs higher then 10s) although I get worse results playing them because these people just don't know how to play DoNs.

I don't think HEM red line is accurate for DoNs. Because of them, EV plummeted greatly. I mean if I can do 0% ROI red line on Hypers (which have 10% rake btw), I should be able to have red line for DoNs which is better then -4%, or at least I hope.

First of all, I haven't seen this much bad play since 1$ DoNs on Merge.

I take back what I said of iPoker DoN players being bad...they are all insane. Now I know why I haven't seen a winning player here. They all ran away from this asylum.

I could post some of the bad calls some of these better players make, but whats the fucking point? There are like hundreds of these.
Their calling range is like 30% especially if they'd get crippled if they lose.

If I push from the button they call me with Ax, Kxs, K5+, Q8s+, QT+, J9s+, 22+. That's their standard calling range, especially if they have more then 7 bbs, and they have no reason to call.
In fact, a call would be idiotic, but they call anyways.

And of course I hit like 1 out of 4 of these, literally. I fucking pray to hit one of my cards. What a fucking joke.

I will probably stop updating for some time because I'm fuming at this moment.
I never tilted for 4 years I played, but I am tilting now.

PS: Won't be playing DoNs anymore, even if it means playing 350 of 11$ SnGs.

Okay, so today I couldn't play as much as I wanted because my internet provider decided to just cut the whole area's internet off in order to fix some brake in some street not even near me, costing me 175$ in lost tourneys.

Because of this I will have to play 12 hours for each Friday and Saturday in order to accomplish my goal. Wish me luck!

On the other side I kept running bad, in addition to usual crap in DoNs where I'm called too loosely and winning like 30% of my all ins tops (had to continue playing 20$ DoNs in order to achieve enough WH points).
Apart from getting my AA/KK out flopped by some crazy 2 pair combos and lower pairs, in SnGs I've been running 100$ under EV only today.

These are just usual cases and there are literally hundreds and hundreds of these, and what is worse, played by winning players (or at least less bad then standard).

There were much worse cases but I picked up first 4 I came into.

Sick SBs mate.. I used to play 5$ there, the 6man is just terrible.. They just don't fold to pushes especially from the short stacks on bubble.
Main reason I started playing the 10man DON.. Atleast I thought they would fold in 20$+ levels... This is beyond fishy..

im thinking/starting to get into DoNs on merge. my current br is at a whooping $100.59 haha, build it up from $35 deposit this month by mainly playing 6max st which i feel i ran quite hot at but have decided to stray from them as the downswings can be brutal slash they are mainly played by rakeback grinders (of which i cant even get close to their volume being a part timer and all)

do you think DoNs on merge are still worth playing to try build up my br?

Hey, I've been playing on Black Chip poker and I had 50% rakeback over some affiliate but they don't offer that anymore. DoNs there are pretty profitable.

I had 6% ROI on Merge over 6k games.
Whilst here on WH I got -7% over 2.5k, what a joke.

From last 1.000 all ins I won 300 tops, it just doesn't stop. Lose, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, win, lose, lose...and I'm in front most of the time.
If I ran at least break even which is what I ran most of my carrier, I'd have at least 3k-4k more $ and I would be playing 30s instead of 5s.

That is a big deal to me since average wage is 500$ in Serbia.

As well because of this I wont make it to 1500$ bonus so I will have to slowly grind in April and get myself out of this gutter.

I'm around 300 SP short of my next gemstone so that is my goal for today, unless I go busto of course, which wouldn't surprise me.

I did think about wh but def having second thoughts now especially if youre finding it rough and youre a winning player

I was actually quite impressed with their play for a while today, but only in 5s.
They play much much better then people in 10s and 20s and even 30s.
I don't know, maybe it's a good thing that they are mad. I'd possibly be around 0% ROI if I won my share of hands which would be decent for what I wanted to accomplish.

I don't want to scare you away from WH but as I play, I'd like them to fold more instead of stressing if he'll hit with his J9s again.
As well WH doesn't really have playable stakes under 5$.
They got 1$+0.2$ and 2$+0.4$ but you really have to be a nutcase to play these.

Well, I guess if you're lucky enough you can get decent money on WH until deposit bonus wears off. If you're able to get a gemstone it can get around 85%+ rake-back equivalent.

the AQs vs 32o hand is rather funny, your utg raise is definately a buff.. in his eyes anyway haha

i was planning on trying to clear some of my first deposit bonus and work through a few of the merge skins before trying out wh. its just hard to clear much of the bonus with low volume and low stakes haha

the 6man superturbos are somewhat tempting when it comes to clearing some of the bonus as i can get in more volume from being such fast games but run a huge risk of ruin when ive only got a dirty $100

I still would'nt want them 2 call me off like this in a DON.. It will be good 4 us if this is a normal SnG...

1 more thing, u probably know this already, 1 mistake I did when I tried to clear FDB in WH is I played DONs where I was losing terribly and when I cleared the Bonus my losses were more than the bonus I got back.. I realized it only at the end.. Hope u don't make that mistake.

HM1 is lying to me
I was questioning it's accuracy, but this is silly.

I had a brilliant day, having some luck with the right cards at the right time (dominating or being ahead 80+% of the time, except a few pair into higher pair and running into aces HU) but the damn red line keeps falling.
My actual ROI today was -2%!
On all of those hands we were AI before the river of course...most of them pre-flop.

At this point I basically give up trying to figure out how to get it up. It's obviously not by making good pushes/folds.
