y hello there

-havnt played many stt's at all over the last month (~25games -8BIs) due to uni exams
-i did play a bunch of mtt superturbs on the side while attempting 2 study tho. very -ev study wise but i manage to ship a $6 for ~$300
-uni's over now an i have the luxury of nothing 2 do, so plan 2 start the grind again

-put $50 on stars 2 have a tracked account on pokerstrategy since i busted my william hill roll playin roulette
-going 2 play w 10BI bankroll an see what happens
-back at the micros again, its about 10months since i decided to focus on stt's and was grinding the $2 games

thats all i have 4 now.

came back from a grueling field trip yesterday to find FT shut down ?(. feel stupid an frustrated for not withdrawing more of my roll when i had the chance. but i bet im not the only 1.

with the only roll i have left the $50 i borowed on stars it looks like ima be living week by week & as cheaply as possible.

havnt come up w a long term plan yet, but i have 2 weeks of holidays 2 ball bust and try get something 2gether.

Short term poker goals over next few weeks.

[] withdraw it, payback $50, redeposit $600
[] grind off the $600 deposit bonus.

this would give me a few weeks rent and a workable roll.

im just not sure how safe stars is and how much 2 keep on there if i ever make it back 2 midstakes.

gona be a tough challenge with pretty short time constraints i hope im up 4 it ♠_frown:

10Bi's not enough
I was playing $1.50's up to $15's and back to $1.50's in one day with a 10BI bankroll management plan and it was just way to swingy for me to handle. especially since i was taking shots at $60's not long ago.
So I deposited and went back to playing with 100BI.

now that im chasing bonuses, i purchased tableninga 4 stars and trying to increase my multitabling capacity, currently playing 14. ive done my stint at the $3.50's and now playing $7's.

uni is over and Im trying to get back in the full swing of things after a pretty long break from the tables.
1st week back has been kind to me running nicely above EV.

Im now playing mostly $15s & mixing $7s, $30s and the odd $60 to fill up.
I was still more lazy than Id like to be last week, so I thought id start writing goals & stuff down to increase my motivation by reigniting ye ol blog.

I think of some goals for December & maybe post results since last post soon.

Hi all,
liferoll is pretty much busto, so now seems as gooda time as any 2 reignite ye ol blog once again and get back into some semi-serious sng action.

The poker I have played has gone well, but as usual for most, I would like more volume. Im not sure if Ive ever completed a volume goal on this blog, so to make them more attainable I will make them weekly & smaller, and try to work up from that.

Here's 9man graph from Dec 1st, also had a successful dabble in some mttsngs, but it all seems irrelevant as the profits have been all but spent.

still playing, just when I feel like it tho. Since ive resigned to the fact that im not a volume grinder, ive dropped to 6tabling and really concentrating on squeezing every bit of EV i can out of each game i play. enjoy playing more this way

almost 2k games at $15 turbos w +15%roi. some would say unsustainable
want 2 move up but have had to withdraw winnigs

-Its study week before exams for me atm so obv im doing anything but

-been having the odd mtt session when i dont feel like grinding the STTs. not often, proly <100 mtts this year.

-3rd in $11turbo for 1k last week and yesterday became my biggest winning day with a 1st in $22turbo for ~$500 and 1st in $3ribeye turbo for $1200.

-These scores occurred right on time as my life roll was quickly converging to negligible. Now i have enough cash to live & to have another crack at the 60s & 100s. Fucken sick!!! Still mulling over wether to sell some of that action though, proly wont since the volume will be pretty low.

-Fully results oriented & it feels good, peace out evrybody

was pushing 17% but decided to drop 15buyins today instead
almost all turbos

have had to drop the 60s again as they keep bending me over.
almost 40% 4th & 5th finish position distribution

-Ive never been as close to broke as I am now. Its worrying. Poker is actually still going well, its volume & expenses that are holding me back atm.

-3 weeks ago i switched to WPT to chase a $500 1stDB and get some fk'n rakeback for once.

-Playing with 30BI bankroll, so far ive played ~650 games at 12% and cleared $300.

-My goal is to clear this asap, use the points for another small bonus & move on to another site.

-Last month I finished my 2nd degree & Im applying 4 geology jobs everyday. Hope something arises soon.

-Boring but still an update. will try to more often but....

finished the WPT $500 DB today, see figure 1, im happy with how that went but now im at a bit of a loose end and not sure what to do from now. Ill try to explain my situation & would greatly appreciate any ideas any1 might have.

I would love to play with some form of rakeback, to cushion the swings & as motivation for volume. However, i dont know of any site other than stars that has any traffic during the day (AET). During the WPT bonus i was getting up at ridic hours to play as the games start drying up at 9-10am & and bone dry for the rest of the day ($11+).

This sucked. I dislike mornings, to give an idea of how much - everyone of age in my extended family back in NZ are dairy farmers & 90% of the reason i didnt choose that path is because i dont want to get up at ~5am every single morning. I realise many jobs require this, but not 7days/week 9months of the year w/o a single sleep in. Its just not in me.

For the past month every morning has required a ~15+minute internal motivational campaign to get out of bed achieving a 50% success rate.
30% i reset the alarm & go for an extra hour sleep b4 re-evaluting. And the rest is just an 'ah fuck it' day. (bahh 2 paragraphs on nothing sorry, lil high as i write this :tongue:.)

in summary
-prefer to play in normal work hours
-would like rb but cant commit to the longer term forms of them cause i dont know what ill be up to next month

idea atm is to play reg speeds on stars, try to keep a good roi since no rb, but i dunno

anyway I wish you the very best in the very next task you undertake
