Not so much motivation to blog.
Quick update just for you
I keep trying to beat NL100 and have also started (again) playing HU.I am strongly considering the combo HU+zoom once all stakes are out and HEM are updating with a HUD.
I have been playing zoom for several hours now to try it out. First I played w/o HUD and then with HUD NL50SH.
I never played rush before so it is all new to me. I think volume wise this is the nuts there is nothing to say about it. Especially for ppl that have somewhat limited time it is so much +EV .
The thing that stroke me the most is how nitty some ppl are. 16/12 are not that uncommon. I also think that some ppl are way more laggy that on normal tables. Obviously my judgment might be biased because I normally play NL100 but for those 2 things I believe it to be zoom related.
So basically the field is made of fish, super nitty and super laggy and also some more taggy ppl.
Zoom will require some session length changes too bc it is so easy to end up clicking buttons. I'd say I should play for an hour 3 tabling and then make a break.
I didn't adjust properly my shoving ranges and ended up being big underdog AI pre 4-5 times (I don't think I run into the top of their range but more that their range is tight). I am not sure whether this is zoom or NL50. I'll have to be cautious about this.
Anyways that's all good fun. For those who like graphs here is mine for the past days. HEM2 indeed. btw I don't have pbs with it like so many ppl. The only thing is that it is a bit CPU heavy... I'll prob use it untill they release HEM1 zoom.
Can't wait for the NL200/400 release so that I can play NL100!
Spoiler

EDIT: Would have liked to post a hand but I can't find the way in HEM2 if anyone knows thx!

open the hand viewer (not hand replayer) the icon is next to hand replayer icon.
In the bottom right it says 'export to' click that and select 2+2 then click 'export hand' to the left of that.
Ready to paste in thread.
I hope that makes sense, id post a screenshot but im on my phone at the moment.

I assume you mean 'staked' not 'stacked' but you may end up getting both.

I assume you are not ending the sentence after the ''6max NL'' and after the colon.

Update = brag as one says ♦
Played that 500€ 6 max side event yesterday and it all went very well ![]()
Finished 3rd /150 and cashed for €9k!
I barely slept last night as I was/am super excited and was super exhausted too (tourney started at 3pm and finished 12 hours later).
12 hours would be pretty long to describe so i'll try to make it shortish.
Decided to get aggro right at the start on the 1st table. Only pb I had a PS member (russian community) on my left that picked on me a little so couldn't go to aggro monkey but still managed to double up my stack at 1st break.
From there things went wrong, lost AA vs KJ where he spiked his 2nd pair OTR (didnt 3 barrel though as board was ugly) and then lost KK flopping KQJ with A on the turn where I got action...
Fast forward I am short stack and split A8 vs AQ and then double up w QJ vs KT ![]()
From there I played well winning medium pots with 1 or 2 bluffs. Up to where we were about 35 left (18 got paid) and made a cash game mistake. I have prob around 40bb and went for 2 barrel OOP vs a young English guy. imo that was a ideal 3 barrel bluff but then I realized I couldn't really do that with my stack size. Decided to c/f OTR.
I then was moved to 1st table and had to be tight (have ~25bb). Down to 25 and I thought I would be fine without playing at first untill I realized I wasn't. It was taking ages to get ppl out at that stage and in 6 max blinds are coming very fast ![]()
Hadn't played a single hand on that table I made a resteal sb vs BU w Ax and the guy mucked a good ace. My image saved me there. Then I shoved w AK and got called by AT and doubled up.
After the bubble lasted for 1h we are itm and I double up w Qs9s in BB vs BU min open w AK. I c/r AI on KQxss and spiked my flush OTT. I then doubled up again w JJ 3B in BB and SB calls, flop is QJTss and I shove and he calls w A8ss and my JJ held up.
At that stage I have a pretty big stack last 12. Lost some small pots and a 4B bluff. And then final table last 7. Everyone has average stack but the German that has twice more.
A Scottish old aggro guy (well it's all relative I suppose - late 40s)
2 young American dudes
1 German my age
1 young English
Another mid 20s guy.
5/7 played the main event. Table was quite fun, a bit of chat going on etc... Was nice.
Pretty tight at this point there was almost no post flop action. Steal and resteal action only. When we are doen to 4 I manage to double up w AA vs JJ pre flop AI when it went Jxx,x,A for some crowd entertainment!
Last 3 then. Chip leader has 900k I have 400k and 3rd has 200k. Blinds are massive 6k,12k w 1k ante. BU chip leader steal I resteal for 90k w AQ and he shoves. I call and he shows 45s. Flop come 44x ![]()
BU said that he didn't expect me to call here with respect to stack sizes but to me it was a no brainer as I was going for 1st ♦
Pay out was 21k, 13k and 9k. I still think I was right though (not much diff between 3rd and 2nd). And if he showed 45s he could have showed Ax too.
Btw the shorti won the HU ♦ 2 AI 20/80 underdog and 1 50/50 and the tourney is his!
Well shortish didn't really work out I guess but the excitement got me writing ♦
Well done to Jan217 that staked me (yes staked without "c") for 12.5%!
ty ty guys ![]()
btw Tim or other MTT/SNGs pros, given the payout structure and stack sizes what would be the weakest hand you would 3B/c on the latest hand?
