Tiger Tiger racist management

Hi jackinbeat,

thanks to forward this to us.

The Tiger Tiger assured us that this was not a decision because of racism and that this won`t effect our event or our customers.
Please be sure that we as PokerStrategy.com have a big responsibility for our users and that we are against racism that`s why we`ll have an eye on that.

Lets have a good time.

Regards,
Marina

Hey Toby,

As we discussed on Skype, we will be arriving already on Friday evening and suppose to meet up with TT and the rest of the crew for some drinks. I text or call you once I know where the others are but just call TT if you can. Also I won't be ready before 10pm because our flight lands at about 9pm.

Text me if anything.

I've only been to the diamond event so I can't say anything about the black member part.

I had a great night, the venue was good with the different music styles and big enough so that it wasn't just poker players in there.

However there were a few things that could have been better imo and some were quite annoying.

The food was pretty bad, the "tomato" soup didn't have any tomatoes in it and the raspberry cheesecake was a mandarin cheesecake. This in itself wasn't a problem, but none of the food seemed like it was very fresh or home-made. I know that it had to be pretty cheap and that we couldn't expect michelin star quality, but I'm sure there were better options instead of this. The service was good however and they were quick with the drinks :)

At 9:30 we couldn't get any drinks anymore even though they were supposed to be free untill 10. Ingrid fixed this quickly and it wasn't really a problem.

We had 5 tokens to get free drinks, but the club stopped accepting them after a while? At first we had to go downstairs every time to get drinks and later they just didn't accept them anywhere. I don't know how it's possible but I was quite annoyed to have to pay for my own drinks when I was supposed to have a few free drinks. Ingrid tried to sort it out which I really appreciate but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

A lot of comments but I definitely had an awesome night and it was really cool to meet everybody!

Don't really have anything to add. Looking back at the event, it feels that the budget was probably too low for the amount of people that were in there.

Food was fine and edible but given that it was supposed to be a high-class restaurant, it didn't quite meet the expectations.

The positive sides were that the service was fast, polite and effective. The event was well organized and the PS staff members kept everyone informed about what was going on and besides the things mentioned in Yoghi's post, everything run smoothly. The club itself was also pleasant and stylish.

Again, it was nice to meet you all and the night itself was a lot of fun!

Hey,

I dare to say that I had a truly fantastic time in London. During that time, I met a lot of nice people, from PokerStrategy community and others. Also, it’s always enjoyable to experience other cultures and get acquainted to how people live. Although, it seemed to me that London and especially its downtown is an expensive place to live in (which can be totally worth it?).

In London, I tried to experiment with local cuisine. My food range started from standard British burgers and ended with the menu list from somewhat foreign posh restaurants. I would say that the food offered at the Spanish restaurant caught my attention the most: a wide variety of meals that all excelled at taste and looks. I will agree that the food we had at “Tiger-Tiger” was not as enjoyable as it was, for example, at that Spanish restaurant, but I can’t complain much either. At the end of day, my stomach was full and I was happy.

I think that the issue with the tokens isn’t entirely PokerSteategy’s fault. One possible scenario is that at first whoever from the club management agreed to share free drinks didn’t take into consideration the true expense of it. Also, there was different token policy for each floor, i.e. for some reason we couldn’t get any drink for free at the third floor. Afterwards, we could. Maybe there was a separated management at the club with some communicational barriers. However, all in all, it was a great party location for two major reasons: a) at each floor, there was a different music style, so one wouldn’t be forced into listening only to one style; b) club was filled with secluded and more quiet areas where you could relax and chat, something that is uncommon at loud clubs.

The most important, let us not forget Ingrid who worked really hard while we were having a good time. She was everywhere, she spoke to everyone and she did her best, so we could enjoy ourselves. Thank you, Ingrid! You did really great!

Last, I would also like to thank everyone that I met and had great time with. It was great to meet the community people. It was my first VIP party and I hope that not the last one. As an idea, maybe in addition to parties there should be some other activities like camping in Spanish nature, or snowboarding at Alps.

Till we meet again!

Hi guys,

Thank you for your feedback. I really enjoyed meeting everyone for the very first time, and I'm hoping there will be a next time to see you all again for more than just one day.

I would like to express my appreciation to all the freelancers who managed to spare some time and take the opportunity to come to London and meet the players. It really means a lot to me.

I hope you had the opportunity to have a chat with our special guest, PokerStars representative, Lee Jones. It was an honor to meet you him and I know he was very happy and pleased to meet you all.

Regarding the drinking coins, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this throughout the night, we tried our best to fix it as soon as possible but I hope we managed to compensate this a tiny bit with the unlimited drinks during dinner time.

Most importantly, I feel very lucky to have been pointed as a host for the London event and would like to thank to our Event team, Marina and Katrin for organizing it for us and hope you guys will join them on other stops of the VIP tour this year too.

I can't wait to see you guys again.
Ingrid

Hi guys! Sorry 4 coming late! Also my english is not really good and I'm using google translator for support ;-)

I think the Tiger Tiger club was a great place for the celebration party. Both the dinner and the atmosphere were very good.

We had the opportunity to meet many great players PokerStrategy community and have some fun with them.

Note also the treatment received by IngridN. She really did everything possible to meet the needs of all participants at the party.

Thank you for everything and I wish to see you on more partys!
