Great stuff mate, what a Masters! Watson deserved his win for this miracle shot alone but Louis is the man. The way he played all week, he looked as he if he were strolling his weekly medal and very gracious in defeat, top bloke. Bring on the Open!

Completely agree. I admit that I was barracking against Watson - a large part of me (and there's enough of me to make this a significant point) felt that a Southern dude named Bubba with the worst mullet in golf winning the Masters was a worst case outcome. Admittedly I hadn't paid much attention to the guy before (for those reasons LDO), but I can't remember ever seeing a whole raft of pros standing at the side of the green to heartly congratulate a winner, so he's obviously no Tige Wankleson.
FWIW both Bubba and I share the complete lack of formal coaching so he has me considering a comeback. How hard can it be?

I saw that, what a belting 15's so far! Going on the form of NZ youngsters alone, the Irish could be in a for a very interesting tour...
Outside of the Test series (which should be really interesting for all sorts of reasons), what will be interesting is the 3 week break in the Super Rugby comp in order to accommodate a test window. That will lead to a weird dynamic running into the playoffs... and for once I actually care what that might mean for my team!
Well, it's been 5 days since the semi so I'll pop my head up again!

I know he turned down the role before, but do you think he'd change his mind (fingers crossed)?

First I've heard. Outside of the disgrace of calling the Chiefs "Waikato" in the article*, my understanding is he's open to a role with England but prolly doesn't want to waste his time without a clear role and appropriate direction from the ERFU. 'Appropriate direction' in this case probably means the current board bricked up in a coal cellar somewhere, sans mobile phone coverage LDO. It wouldn't shock me if he took up the job, and I'd imagine his decision would be based on how little bullshit Lancaster speaks in their face off (John Woo slow mo's FTW). He just wants to coach players who want to play footy, and doesn't want to play politics.
It'd be a shame to lose him from the Chiefs, but I'd expect he'd return to NZ as he did after his last stint in the UK and hook right back in to the system.
*the team were the Waikato Chiefs back in 1996, but changed in early '00s to the Chiefs, given it's a team made up of several provinces - as are all the NZ Super Rugby franchises. Confusing the two is akin to calling the Lions rugby team England. FWIW the AAP (Aussie news service) still calls them the Waikato Chiefs, and they'll be first against the wall when the revolution comes.
PS In other news, my new under 7 rugby side, the Ferraris, are a team of beasts.
