50nl turn bluff w oesd

villain is 29/24/2...71%cbet and 100% doublebarrel
i tried to bluff him on the turn...is my bluff ok and he just happened to have a real hand and shoved or should i have played it differently and it was spewy??

Just fold flop. You are 200bb deep, you'll never play a weak draw profitably OOP until showdown.

I think your line just doesnt make sense, you're limp/calling pre oop which is like always pocketpairs+maybe some SC's.
Youre 200bb deep so you're never slowplaying any strong made hands on that flop so you're raise on the turn just doesnt represent anything. What made hands could you play like that?

yeah then i guess if i wanted to turn my hand into a bluff i should have bluffraised the flop...or just fold as emanuel said

Hello z0fman,

Preflop: I'd rather raise it up even than complete. :P Everyone has a full stack and our 77 is most likely even ahead vs their limping range.

As played
Postflop: Check/Fold the flop while you were passive preflop. Your thoughts doesn't make sense, if you really wanted to bluff then you would have done it on the flop rather than give away free cards on such a drawy board. You would rarely slowplay any set nor 2pairs here.

If you went for the draw then Check/Fold already there cause you could have reversed implied odds there and rarely of course get paid while being OOP.
