I'm from Ireland and was playing on the app this morning in work. Their wifi is routed thru an English server;)
I was playing a 45 man SNG and the app worked perfectly. I was able to switch between other apps and as my hand needed to be played a notification poped up and I was back in the action no bother.
I came second 
I see 888 came out with an app yesterday too. Very poor compared to stars, plays alright tho but not much choice of games and no tournaments.

personally i love it but betting diffrent amounts is awkwered i almost timed out lol
Seems they've rolled it out it for PokerStars.eu players now!

I long for and dread the release for .com for a similar reason!
I have a specific clause in my contract(IT crap) that no gambling software may be installed on the work computer, so yeah, it'll screw my productivity when mobile goes live. 
Yup, lunch breaks are gonna get interesting for me soon!
Need to get a compatible phone though shortly.... Oh wait, I got a text lately to say I'm due an upgrade!

Last week, the mobile client was rolled out on PokerStars.EU. The new room—regulated by the LGA in Malta and sharing a player pool with the international dot.com website—was first launched in February and players from Sweden and Finland were migrated over. Since its launch, residents of Romania, Poland and Slovenia have also been moved to the new site. Players in all five countries can now get the mobile app on all devices.
I found the application on my Iphone's App Store. Working perfectly, never though multitabling with mobile device could be so easy.
And I can play PLO too!

yep, tested it and working fine on my iphone, it's awesome. I'm from Romania. Maybe you're not in supported countries? Or maybe some problems with Android?
Anyway, I think mailing support is best.

Doesn't work playing from Malta... My account is registered in Sweden and my poker software on my laptop is .eu.
Unfortunately this mobile app does not work from a Maltese ISP... Too bad, I really wanted to play poker while waiting for busses, and while pretending to listen to my gf :).
