Any views on smoking whilst playing poker?

When I smoke and play I feel like I am playing my A game, only difference I feel is that I play a little bit slower, and lose concentration faster so usually have to play smaller sessions.

Recently though, the more I've been smoking, the more my winnings decrease. But I do still feel like I am playing my A game. So I'm not sure if playing worse and not realising or something? ♠

A poker friend is telling me to never smoke and play. Just wanted to know other peoples views/experiences ::)

Well when im high i also feel that i can fly but it still doesnt make it so :(

Well we get really bad weed here so I never get that high :P

Well funny thing actually because I was also wondering about this and even opened a thread ♦
Well I have a friend who has a achieved big results only playing high. He is since then really superstitous and even thinkings he can play his best poker with ganga. For example he think it helps analyzing the spots better and avoiding tilt (funny thing he has in MTTs like +3,5k over a big sample of toutnament and -3k in cash games).
Myself I am not a fan of playing poker high since I take it seriously but with friends why not then I dont even have to play my A-game ♦
