I think players like Baines, Milner and Parker need to play to balance the team. Every tournament in my lifetime England have picked a team purely on name and status, I.e. Gerrard and Lampard get picked everytime and do absolutely nothing, whereas players like Baines, Parker and particularly Milner give everything.
The truth is we probably won't win it but we'll have better chance with players who want it more.

Solid win for Donald, I watched his final round with Rose, you could see that every time Rose gave himself a sniff of a birdie, Donald would slam one in! You had to feel for Rose, he was excellent tee to green, but Donald is ruthless when in the right mood. Do you think Rory has as the right attitude lately? He seems a little disinterested IMO.

Do ye remember the time Benitez wanted to offload Alonso so he could bring in Barry,hahahaha.Always remember the game Liverpool thumped Madrid 5-0 (i think) and Alonso just ran the show.He loves Liverpool but i just can't see him going back with such uncertainty surrounding the club.At least the plans for a new stadium seem to be gathering pace.Probably Liverpool's biggest mistake over the last 2 decades not getting that sorted.Anfield is steeped with history but that doesn't bring in extra money that a 60,000 seater would have so at least that is on the way.
Catch up with ye tom anyway and we get plans for the league underway.
