I'm pretty sure HM1 is supposed to work well with zoom now.

One of our mods is playing pretty much exclusively zoom and using HM1..

Wtf how? when? Do I need to update my HM1?

I only use HM2 myself, but I'll see what I can find out!

Ahh brilliant, I had a little look myself but couldn't find anything. There was an update on the HM forums I found but that's out of date now. :(

Had a nice day today shortstacking 16/25NL. :)

Here's my graph since I started shortstacking.

Spoiler

Things are going pretty well it seems, really enjoying shortstacking.

9500 hands in a day? That's some pretty nice volume, right there!

fruktpuff, I try to aim for 10k hands a day... :)

Ty nikolass2. :)

Today was a horrible day for me, ran really bad, not down that much though, but still... Always run terrible on weekends.

Spoiler

Here's my favourite hand of the day:

Poker Stars $0.08/$0.16 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players -

Hero (SB): $7.26
BB: $4.13
UTG: $18.10
UTG+1: $17.56
MP: $7.30
CO: $15.36
BTN: $21.68

Pre Flop: ($0.24) Hero is SB with A :diamond: K :diamond:
3 folds, CO raises to $0.40, BTN raises to $1.60, Hero raises to $7.26 all in, 2 folds, BTN calls $5.66

Flop: ($15.08) Q :diamond: 8 :spade: 4 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($15.08) 5 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($15.08) 7 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $15.08
Hero shows A :diamond: K :diamond: (high card Ace)
BTN shows A :club: K :spade: (a flush, King high)
BTN wins $14.40
(Rake: $0.68)

So, about the HM1 / zoom, this is what I've come up with so far:

If you download the version in the link below, that should be working with Zoom:

HM1 latest build.

If it's still not working, make sure you are running both HM and the Stars client as local admin.

If it's STILL not working, download the DLL file from the Holdem Manager Dropbox on the link below, and replace the one in your HM folder:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11623474/Blitz.dll

Please let me know if it works or not.

Regards,
Richard

Thanks a lot man, sadly I live at my nans house at the moment and she has limited internet (lol) so can't download here, I am going to have to wait until I'm at a friends to download it. :( I'll let you know as soon as I have tried it though. :)

Nasty downswing :(

But it'll turn, keep playing solid and you'll get paid eventually!

You should really consider, playing a little less, and put more time doing something else, cause 10k hands a day is crazy. I remember in cash my longest session was 8h+ i took down 10k hands i was 24-tabling don't remember exactly was it FR or SH.

Good luck! _thumbsup:

Well I'm playing full time at the moment and the rakeback is a lot of my $$ so volume is really important. Especially as I'm trying to get Supernova by the end of September... I need around 500 VPPs per day.

Thanks! Good luck to you too! :)

Hmm so I tried some ZOOM this morning, got it working on my HM1 (thank you fruktpuff). So I play for a few hours this morning, (4 6 max zooms and 2 full ring) and this happens...

Spoiler

I swear it's not normal to run as bad as I do... X(

Lost AA vs QQ, KK vs 99, AKs vs JJ, QQ vs TT, each one all in pre flop. ?(

Here's my AIPF graph for that session...

Spoiler

If this downswing continues for much longer I'm gonna be back at 10NL. :(

Had a few hours break then thought I'd try again on the normal full ring tables and the same bullshit happens... Lost KK vs AA, AKs vs AA and AA vs AKo....

Worst day I've had in a loooong time.

Didn't play much on Wednesday had another losing day (below EV):

Spoiler

But today I had the better side of variance, I've been playing only 10/16NL the last two days with some 25NL at the end...

Spoiler

Hopefully the luck will continue tomorrow. :)
