Welcome to our blogging section!

My apologies for taking so long to welcome you, but the midsummer celebration just ended up getting extended a little!

Really nice introduction post and well structured goals, hopefully you'll fly through the stakes in no time!

Yeah, since you want to improve, "through" the limits would be the best option.

Looking forward to seeing your updates come frequently and your blog prosper and grow with huge amounts of followers!

Regards,
Richard

Thanks for welcoming me fruktpuff/Richard :).

It's time for another update!

Yesterday I really wasn't ready for playing (had a big party the night before). I even didn't watched a vid or read an article. A non-productive day it was.

Today it's going a lot better, alltough I yesterday had another party (good life hehe). I started to read 'Threat your poker like a bussiness' and it looks very good to me, I didn't expected anything worse from leatherass actually. Pretty sure I will read the wholo book this week.

Motivation is rising again, I just read some hands judged by veriz to get back to feeling with my game. Now, because it has been a while since I played I'm going to open 4 NL10 tables. Let's start easy :).

I'll post some hands afterwards!

Played my first session of poker after my break. I said I was going to play some NL10 but accidently opened NL25 tables (habit)... Well, I certainly didn't have scared money so I just kept playing that limit. Unfortunately I lose almost 2BI but I don't care... It happened and I played not too bad! Now I want to learn as much as I can from the hands I played.
Going straight to the judging now!

Here the graph. Looks like redlineproblems but I'm not worrying to much about it. We'll see in the long term.

As you can see I never played a big pot.
Here is the biggest one I won vs a 57/4 player who was postflop a bit tighter (23 wtsd on 100 hands). Was thinking about the thin valuebet to let him call a queen and I did cause he won't have an ace that much of the time. Good valuebet imo

27th of june

After reading some more pages in 'Threat poker like a bussiness' and reading many handjudgings I started another session.
Not too happy about my play, amazingly how much I spewed away and I was lucky to run good.

Bit more swingy than last session... This time I played worse and now I'm up :P. It's a weird game...

I have many interesting hands to post in the judging so that's on my planning for today.

Here the biggest pot I lost today... I think I can't really fold. Villains were unknown. Pfff Idk actually I'd also just call the fish there UTG with AA so maybe I could have folded.

Today I went out with friends :). So not much poker.

Decided to play a session tough. Just finished it... I had a lot of ups end downs but in the end I ended more than 1BI down. Nothing to do about it!

Tomorrow review ;).

Hey English community, where are you guys? I thought here would be many active members but I don't see many guys passing by here?? Would be nice if I got some people following me.

In general, I believe most blogs get a reasonable amount of readers, but not everyone is contributing in each blog.

We do try though!

So wait.. did you go out drinking, and then play poker after? Bad plan, that one!

@Toma: I appreciate that :f_cool:
@fruk: No, not really partying :P. Some gaming, swimming etc. Tnx for reading ;).

Yesterdag I had my first hour of coaching by veriz. Immediately we spotted some leaks and I'm glad I took the coaching. High expectations for next time -> SB analysis.

But today: Summerfestival -> Antwerp/Belgium

See you there ;)

He Farma,

why don't you summarize your coaching in your blog? I know from experience that coaching is great, but after a month or so you'd like to look back at a summary so you don't wind up making the same mistakes.

Yeah I will be ;). By a little bit of 'cheating' :P.
I'm handjudge in the Dutch community for the micro's (NL2-NL10). And all voluntary judges get as reward that your status improves with 1 rank. :).
So when I get gold at the end of the month I'll be platinum hehehe.

Here some big hands I won yesterday.

Bit fancy here vs reg... He has a lot of floats in his range here BvB so I think the turncheck is standard... I don't think he continues his floats on the river and I did a fancy ch/r -> a big ch/r which is pretty weird. I rep very thinly and I hope him to spew. I also took a very long time to ch/r and after that another big bet on the river. I just hoped he bluffcatched me.
He snapped with two pair who only beats bluffs so I think I succeeded :P

Hey Farma,

Kinda decided to give my opinion about the hands.

Hand 1:
I dont mind the play but was just curios what would you do OTT if he would shove or lets say bet big?

Hand 2:
Personally for me it would be pretty easy to actually fold my hand even AA or AK because anyway you have a leak(or weakness) in CbetTurn(at least I noticed it from HE) so if he has is a reg then he probably has a sample on you and knows that. Well if he saw having you in such a spot having a bluffing range then sure it is a great spot otherwise you just hope that he is spewy. If I m X the T then I m going for a X/C and maybe for a X/R or just donk depended how you saw him.
Anyway he had a nice hand so you got payed out nicely
We are going to see what Veriz thinks if we you posted.
GL and keep up the good work!

why not go for diamond then
(does it even work for diamond?)

Thanks for your opinion sikac ;). You're making good progress too.

And @ toma: I think it does work for diamond and I'll go for it in august!

Just played another session and not happy with the level I played on. Did spew sometimes... Hopefully I can learn something tho. Red line is pretty dramatic :(.
