Can you explain how a turnbarrel would generate the same FE though? For example, I would expect him to call flop AND turn with a lot of pocket pairs.
Also, I'm gonna guess he's gonna float pretty much his entire range on this board, with c/j on the turn I still get his floatbet. I expect to be called by 88, QQ, KK and AA (we do block some QQ/AA and he probably would have 4b the KK+) and maybe JJ. That's incredibly thin compared to his float range. If he does call, we probably have 3-6 outs anyway. Can you explain to me where I went wrong?
Thanks again.
To give you a correct answer either he floats or not I don't know, cause I wasn't playing with him but you are, you had stats and previous information.
So I can't tell you, but it's going to be in long run vs unknown better to 2nd barrel than do such bluffs, why would you even do that vs unknown?
If you also assume his floating range is wide then why not just 2nd barrel it, perfect to do so cause he will have tons of cards which he just folds to the 2nd barrel.
