Given that he had a read on the guy's fishiness, I'd say it was a good play. Qx and PP's make up the majority of combos in the guy's range. If he was fishy enough to call with random XhYh hands on the flop, he's fishy enough to call the turn/river with nearly anything, too. So in order to give him a lot of flush draws, we make his range so awful that we dominate it anyway. If we don't do that, he has surprisingly few flush combos, since he had to have something on the flop, and PP's can't make flushes obviously. QhXh is the only non-fishy possibility for a flush here, considering the size of the flop bet.

I suppose only 4h5h and QXh make it to the river here. And 4h5h shouldn't be making it past the flop due to sizing.

Yeah, this is a good river shove. I'm convinced.

I would have played the same way, we just Bet/Bet/Bet while assuming that he has a lot of worse hands as Qx hands in his range which Call. Or maybe even looser. ♦
