Spoiler

review:
red line screams b-game, but i also think i ran bad. :f_biggrin: not super horribly god damn awful, just bad

some hands

soul ownage:

PokerStars - $0.25 NL ZOOM - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $56.05
Hero (SB): $26.62
BB: $13.91
UTG: $22.02
UTG+1: $51.13
UTG+2: $12.63
MP: $17.46
MP+1: $32.01
CO: $39.16

Hero posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has T♦ T♠

fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $0.25, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.15, ...
UTG limper seemed pretty damn nitty. i flat because i was expecting a limp/raise trap :f_eek: so limpEV > isoEV... at least under that assumption

BB raises to $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.25, MP+1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25

i was WRONG! :f_mad: but thank you sir :f_biggrin: now UTG range is reeeaaaallly most likely capped at low pocket pairs.

Flop: ($2.00, 4 players) T♣ 3♦ A♠

Hero checks, BB bets $0.75, UTG+1 raises to $4.90, fold, ...

his hand is so face up that it's not even funny.

Hero calls $4.90, fold

minraiser folds which means no AA. now just print the monies :f_biggrin:

Turn: ($12.55, 2 players) A♣

Turn: ($11.65, 2 players) 9♠
MP checks, Hero bets $6.01, MP calls $6.01

MP shows Q♦ Q♥ (Two Pair, Queens and Jacks) (Pre 18%, Flop 10%, Turn 14%)
Hero wins $48.27

when he checked the river i was like 90% sure that he had AK exactly.
guess what - he didn't. but that's okay :f_biggrin:

for "play of the day"... let's put up something by hero :f_biggrin:

PokerStars - $0.25 NL ZOOM - Holdem - 9 players

MP+1: $31.06
CO: $28.41

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has Q♥ A♣

fold, Hero raises to $0.99, fold, fold, fold, CO raises to $2.25, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $1.26

17/16/92h, 2/28 3bet

Flop: ($4.85, 2 players) 9♥ 6♠ 5♠
Hero checks, CO bets $2.40, Hero raises to $4.80, CO raises to $12.19, ...

fold

CO wins $13.80

so, nothing makes any sense? i completely agree.

in an informative note...
i'm not particularly pleased with the few hand histories, few gifs and "slow" updates. but seriously, i feel like i am running out of good enough gifs :f_eek: :f_eek:
might have to go the modest way and switch to jpegs :f_frown: still i think that i can hold my own with gifs for a little longer. but i'll be holding back a bit :f_biggrin:

Not sure about the min-raise hand with very little equity other than overcards. Seems like a spew to me =(

His range isn't capped as he is the 3betting aggressor and he probably isn't folding his JJ+

However, your progress is still incredible. I'm trying to follow in your foot steps sir! =)

29/10/21h fish, 1/5 overall AFq
i make huge bets because, well, he's a fish. but what to do vs the shove?

on one hand he reps almost nothing and could have decided to gamble with draws, on the other hand he looks like a passive fish. and when a passive fish ships the monies he ALWAYS has it

You need like 27% equity to call here. But when the fish shoves, it's always two pairs or better. I think we gotta fold =(

Is it too bad to check turn behind?

The problem I see with his stack and your bet size on turn is that he puts you in a really tricky spot by shoving :(

btw, any info on his fold to 3bet and fold to Cbet?

i folded :f_cry:

aha!

when playing against fish i prefer to just bet/bet/bet until they play back, i think i was probably going to shove the river.
but when he ships himself i decided to fold due to the Fish Theorem :f_biggrin:

now what is THAT about?
when a fish shoves big $$$ into the pot, he ALWAYS has it, no matter how little he reps or if it makes no sense. end of story.

case in point:

PokerStars - $0.25 NL ZOOM - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $17.29
SB: $24.75
BB: $81.59
UTG: $14.02
UTG+1: $28.77
UTG+2: $12.15
MP: $25.35
MP+1: $12.15
Hero (CO): $49.67

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has J♠ J♣

UTG calls $0.25, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.99, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.74

Flop: ($2.33, 2 players) 9♣ 3♠ 3♦
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.73, UTG raises to $3.46, Hero calls $1.73

Turn: ($9.25, 2 players) 5♠
UTG bets $9.57 and is all-in, Hero calls $9.57

UTG shows A♦ A♣ (Two Pair, Aces and Threes) (Pre 81%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%)
Hero shows J♠ J♣ (Two Pair, Jacks and Threes) (Pre 19%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%)

River: ($28.39, 2 players) 4♦

UTG wins $27.11

some may say "standard". NO!
calling the flop minr is debatable, but turn is just a clear fold. i mean this in all seriousness.

With so many different countries having laid claim to various territories of antartica, I doubt if there's any one unifying flag, really...

actually i used wrong wording in my previous post, i did already know that antarctica has a flag. what i meant was if it was available for choosing :f_rolleyes:

anyway i continued my conversation with that operator

Hello!

Thanks for the quick answer.
I'm fine with my normal image, but what I really wanted to know is if there really is a problem with that specific flag (Antarctica) or if it's something on my end and how to fix it.

Thanks!
