maybe you could be kind enough as to tell us more since, as you can see, for men "what's the point" is a complete mystery. or maybe just don't bother, we won't get it anyway.

A stupid one too.
Why can't they just shut their mouth, can't they go over themselves if they saw a coach? If there was a rec player or two at the table, maybe they'll google "video twicet" or "video vonki" and then poof. I know it doesn't happen often that they get concerned with this, but over time I think these things take effect.
not sure if there's anything wrong with me but it's fine with me if a fish wants to improve. ![]()
i mean, by this point just about everyone knows that there can be "method to madness" in poker. the "fish" just don't care for whatever reason.
maybe they don't find it fun to play solidly, or don't want to take the time to learn, or are too stubborn, whatever.

I did say, "it doesn't happen often",but when it does,it hurts, because even if they learn a starting hand chart, they go from 50/3, to 20/10. And if they start to get ambitious...
How do you think the games got tough? I am sure the occasional berating or strat talking played SOME part.
But the bold part...if you really believe that...wow.

haha just not sure he'd stop to talk if he had AA/KK or whatever, and his 4b size seems very unstandard for NL5 plrs
Usually if someone thinks ur recording a video, they get FPS (fancy play syndrome)... overall wasnt buying the story he was telling

well I obv dont want fish to improve either but its kind of irrelevant in zoom because everyone else had already folded so was just me and him
maybe it's that i don't really plan to go pro or anything like that so i just don't really care, if the games get tougher whatever, i'll just try to keep up and if i don't it won't be a big deal anyway. ![]()
as far as i'm concerned though i don't berate fish, talk strat or anything, much to the opposite ♦

yeah, i was thinking about that. i guess you have a right to feel annoyed at my attitude if you actually make a living/substantial side income out of this.
in that case i'll just have to tell you "whatever", but saying that i am being selfish is lol. that's obviously not the word, "apathy" is more correct.
also just to leave it clear, i hold no hard feelings against you due to this little "discussion". i'm fine if we just agree to disagree and meet sometime in the future.
Of course there are no hard feelings, just trying to make a point.
Just because I said what I said doesn't mean I hate you or I hold a grudge.
If the fish get better (as we KNOW they will over time), you just have to get better. Poker and life in general is about making adjustments. Those who succeed, know how to adapt and change as required.
Well teaching fish basics such as a SHC can actually led them to have a higher net deposit over the long term rather that just depositing busting out quickly and never playing again. Its basically the business model of pokerstrategy.com. Even with the free bankroll and wealth of information the vast majority of players who sign up through poker strategy end up being net depositors and that's why poker rooms have pokerstrategy as an affiliate.
