Yes I think you can call here. But man, that was such an awful bet by MP. I really can't understand why he donked this flop if he is planning on folding to a checkraise since it's clear you're probably calling the flop and if his hand is so weak he has to fold to a checkraise he is probably check/folding the turn anyway.

Incidentally if it was checked to me on this flop I would check it back with the gutshot and 2 backdoor flush draws. I really want to see the turn card.

Hi Ribbo,

i have one more question to this one.

Let imagine that MP donk, we call and BB will fold.

What will you do for example on Kd with this scenarios?
MP - donk pot
MP donk 2/3pot
MP donk 1/2pot
MP check

If your action will be call then what will you do on blank non paired river card?

Thanks,
fidelKE

I don't see villain donking with the nuts on the flop typically. I might fold to a pot bet on the turn but anything less than that and I probably raise him all in because I don't see a nut straight taking such a line (they would need to protect themselves on the turn against the huge draw). So with a gutshot, nut flush draw and overpair this gives me enough equity against anything that isn't a nut straight. With the money already in the pot we can't fold at that point.
