New challenge - From 500 to 10k

Hi, guys !

I tested nl500 zoom and nl400 regular tables in last days. Have ~10k hands @zoom and 2k @regular tables. I'm ~1.5k down now, but 12k isn't a sample size, as u know I had 20bi swings when played nl200 over 12k hands. I think I mentioned this b4, but nl500 zoom games suck pretty much. Super tight fish, a ton of regs ... I'm considering to play only regular tables because it's more fun and I think it's possible to get bigger edge by tableselecting. Although I made almost all my profit @zoom and was b/e @regular tables, but it might be only a coincidence.

Now going to play some hands there in next couple of days. Not really sure do I wanna post some graphs anymore, but I will think of something to keep this blog alive, if u have any ideas, plz, let me know

Hey dude, I read you played 4 zoom and 8 regulars - how you spread the layout ?

Stack ? tiled ? Overlapping ? 4 tiled and other stack on them ?

I played all tiled. Can't play using any different layout. I think that's the best way and most people play that way.

Yeah if u have a huge monitor or 2 monitors at least

With one 24' tiling 8 tables seem TOO small.

Hi there I was playing live almost all this week some tournaments, but it didn't go that well Today busted in lucky 13th place. Started this day with 80bbs, but lost all of them in like 2hours. So far only 1 small cash for 7th place. Tomorrow going to play last tournament, hope for some score at least there. Also running pretty bad online, now going to play some hands and probably will update this in a couple of days.

We should get back to planning having a beer one of these days...

I wasn't posting for a month, but now I'm going to spam again I drank a lot of beer and didn't play poker that much, was enjoying last moth of the summer. This is my first September for like 15 years where I don't have to go to the school or uni. I still have some stuff to do in order to get my bachelor, but it's only a couple of days and probably only next year.

So what are my plans for the rest of the year ? I tried out 24 tabling, 8tabling zoom and some other stuff and decided to stick to the 8tabling zoom. Stars allow only 4 tables in each limit, so I can't play 8 tables @200. I'm playing 4 @100 and 4 @200 now. Tried mixing in some 500, but these games are super tough and more focus is required, so not going to 8table with 500, at least for now. I can squeeze 2k/h and rake enough to get sne in a year, so I could go for it that way next year. Now I will try to get some decent samplesize doing that, only 40k hands so far, but running pretty good. When I will have at least 250k hands there, I've an idea of some challenge. This time it will be sicker than last time, but I'm not going to spoil the surprise now, you will know about it if I decide to do it

What I'm going to post here ? As far I know there aren't many hs ballerzzz following my blog, if there any at all, so I'm going to post some stuff useful for lower and and micro stakes players. You guys mentioned before that you wanna see some hands and my thought process etc. I will post some hands and I will try to explain all details. It's good time to start learning, because it's September, and hopefully will see you @ tables soon ♦

I browsed through some posts in my blog to check your pokerstrategy member status and I saw only like 2 diamonds, few platins, mostly gold and below. I assume most of ppl here are playing something like nl25 and below, mostly micros. I think no one of them will benefit from my hands because they don't have understanding of many concepts and other stuff, so I could explain some of them and use my hands as example. OFC, every one hates theory etc, but I will try to keep it interesting and brief. Most of that stuff u will find in some books and some other resources, but some things will be different because I disagree with some common stuff. For that reason u can call me a huge fish I will start with some very simple concepts and see how it goes. Later I will try to do this with some stuff u wanna know. I will post first one shortly, so it's time to start learning and get out of the micros
