15-20min break every 90-120 mins works good.

Another option is to take a 2-3 min break every 25-30 mins, repeat 3-4 times, then take a bigger break.

2-3 minute break do really change something? I understand twenty minute break, that's something you can go out sit in fresh air and drink coffe or tea that could make you feel better, but what could you possibly do in two minutes.

It changes a lot. You can descreen, do some pushups, juggle a bit, get some food/water... Helps you get focus and concentration back.

The idea is that it's way easier to get yourself to start a 25 min session than a 90-120 min one.

You can research the subject more in depth if interested, it's called the "pommodoro technique". Works great for cash games.

I will definetly try that. Thanks for your advice! Let's see how much really those 2 minutes give... it could possibly boost up my winrate. + i never liked play more than 2 hours it is just too boring, i always want to do something else, either i am winning or lossing.

Northernplan is right.

Even if I programmed a robot, I wouldn't implement the strategy. I'd look for better tables and/or take a break. Who knows? Perhaps you are being beat fair and square in a pot or two. Beating the best boosts mosty your ego and not your bankroll.

Would you quit a session against known fish on tilt just because you are nicely ahead? That would be equally bad.

It is possible and not really hard, you just gotta be able to play long hours without getting tired, without tilting and without changing your game style... pretty easy _cool:

if you are on tilt i would recommend you to stop for that particular day i don't know what theory say but my personal experience is better to have a day off to grind better other day then crying afterwards.
