Sorry but how can you guys say the 1st barrel is misplaced?

I mean I only infest 4% of my stack. i know you should play tight in the early stages. but such a semi-bluf is not a bad play at all imo.
I'fe got a double gutshot. which makes a fair chance that i make my hand. and I happen to make my hand i have a chance of getting a nice payday, since i have the absolute nuts then.
Not to mention i have lot's of FE. since they both check the flop.

my point is: how can you not semi-bluff in such a spot. all conditions are perfect for a semi bluff.

you only have a gutshot on the flop = not enough equity.

you only have 1 card left to make your straight on the turn = not enough equity.

so i don't fire either barrel.

i'd also c/f this one down
and even if you hit your straight with a rivered 9 you are possibly beaten by J8 oder KJ, since those two for sure will call turn with gutshot and def with an oesd

#4, and even if you caught your straight I doubt they will call a bigger bet.
