Hey PhilHellmuth4321
Yeah, a lot of people were asking for NL10 zoom, the initially thought was to play NL400 with a live session review.
I may do one more video breaking down the ranges from this video and then after move on to more complex stuff at mid or high stakes.
Speaking of videos: Is it still possible to view the videos you posted on page 1 (and the one on page 15) of this thread?

Hi again! ![]()
First of all I wanna say an excelent vid, very good job!
Although I do have some uncertainties which I hope you could clear out for me.
Q1:We 3b a bit less than 3x. That is because ppl call with weak ranges oop and fold a lot post. Should our 3b always be (3x-1bb), for bluff and for value vs capable players and fish, or do we change the sizing to 3x vs regs? I mean logically we should have same unexploitable sizings, so it should be smaller no matter the opponent, no matter rhe position, right?
There was a spot in a vid where a fully stacked villan w 100bb open raised co/btn and we 3b him as you said for I quote "for value" out of blinds to $1.1.
Q2:Other thing is that I can't shake the feeling that I am giving regs perfect setmining odds every time with this sizing, be it with value hand or bluff. Or I shouldn't worry too much because again, ppl call/fold way too much and actually hit sets way less?
Hi Pleno1,
have you ever seen ss players with positive winrate in 6max fast tables?

this is ( NL5 + NL10 +NL16 ) what's with the big difference between ALl-in Ev line, and Showdown winnings Line ? it's just variation?
Enjoyed the video very much! What I've seen of it so far anyway, I have around 10 minutes to watch yet (I get excited and want to play when watching for too long ♦)
There was a few things I noted:
@9:35 - You talk about that he most probably has a value hand due to his raise amount. What play would you take with QQ for example. Fold and move on? Lets say he made it a smaller $2.50~ so you assume he may have a weaker hand, do we then 5B Push, or call and try to trap?
@23:37 - You fold 67o from B, I take it this was an error due to the other table needing your attention
I also chuckled at "Someone with pic of Negreanu = possible fish" ![]()
I have adapted my game alot due to the info I've read and seen from this thread so far, I've got much more pages to read through yet but I'm seeing some nice improvements in my game. I wasn't the tightest player before by all means, but I am enjoying playing this style far more.
I feel this style is helping my postflop skills dramatically, I've made some bad plays that went horrible wrong, and some that I got lucky with, but you've got to try these things eh
I've not played alot of hands lately but my stats have certainly changed and I'm 3Betting much much more, I'm amazed at how these .80's get through as well as the .2 from BU!
I look forward to watching the last part and watching a new one when you hopefully decide to do it ^^

Hey
@1,
The video was mainly speaking about playing in position rather than oop, out of position making it $1 or $1.10 is both fine, if we think they are a fish then $1.10 so we get an extra bb of value and help increase SPR for future value down the streets
@2,
It's really fine dont worry, people will call far too wide pre flop and even call flops too wide and fold to turn bets, it will increase your red line significantly whilst not damaging your blue line = more profits.
Hi pleno,
This is at NL50 SH.
How do you adapt to a guy playing 30/28, 3betting 20-25% IP and restealing 50%? What range do you 4bet bluff and what range do you stack off if he 5b shoves?
I play him on anon tables, so I don't really have a good sample for his 5bet and fold to 4bet. He shoved QJs once in BTN over my 4bet from CO. But most of the time I ran into AA or AK when he shoved. He calls some 4bets IP and I caught him doing that with KK a lot. Do you think AA-KK is his exclusive 4bet calling range IP? Then he must be 5b shoving a lot of suited stuf like Axs, QJs, cause he wasn't constantly folding to my 4bets when I started to pick on him. My problem is that I always need like 30-40 hands to realize it's him on the anon tables, so I lose a lot of initiative during the initial period, and still don't get a decent sample on his 4-5bet ranges unless I play really long sessions and gather all the data manually.
He also likes to raise bluff a lot of flops in not-3bet pots and has the nice AF of 7.
My problem is i open a lot of SC and PP and he seems to 3bet me IP like all the time, like you do in your vids. I 4bet bluff almost everytime i have some blockers, but I really hate it when i have something like 77-TT, or really good SC. Plus as said before, he seems to 5b shove real wide, so should I stack off with a lot of PP and broadway aces?
I also posted this as a comment to the latest video you recorded at NL10, do you think you could record something similar at nl50-nl100?
Thanks
when going for 2 streets of value against regs
which line is better for you?
is it
bet - bet - check
check - bet - bet
bet - check - bet??
i find that with the last line, people look me up really wide since its such a bluffy line especially when the turn card comes as a draw
hey man
i play nl200 fr currently on stars
i'm doing very well and winning at 4-5bb/100 over a decent sample. however, soon or later i will have to mix fr with sh (specially after nl400 where fr dies)
any tips? i guess fr and sh is pretty much the same at these stakes, though. am i right? or people call down lightly, etc?

I don't play that high, but I think it might be better to try sh out on a limit lower to see if and where there are differences instead of just jumping in NL200sh games.
yeah, i played some sh (as well as hu) some months ago, but i'm still paranoid about it
hi pleno! I have been following this blog and it gives me massive amounts of motivation to improve my game. thanks for that
I have been playing nl5 6max zoom for nearly 50k hands now and I have attempted to move to nl 10 a few times always losing a few bins and rebuilding again. Now I think I have a good chance at finally beating the edge to climb from nl5 to nl10 as I have managed to win 6.5bins at nl10 so that I now have 31.5bins for that level (using the 25bin brm). could you please look at few of my stats and tell me if I can improve my game statwise more(open more from button,3bet more from position etc?? what kind of hands to 3bet ip and op?) ps. My goal is to climb as many zoom levels as I can. hopefully I'll be at nl200zoom oneday ![]()

Hey Pleno, not really to do with 6max (gotta catch up on this thread!)
But one of your posts in the learning to win forum on a thread about a microstakes study group mentioned PS were looking to introduce something to improve the effectiveness and stuff of study groups, has this been implemented yet? What is it?
