Any coach will tell you setting monetary goals is dangerous and can easily be avoided.

Ok, really had to work for every inch tonight as variance hit. Luckily wife went out so I had time to swing back from ~$30 loss to start my session.

Managed to make bronze and unlock another $5

BR=$133.97

edit: sure am glad that I didn't choose 888 to move to.

why not 888 out of curiosity?
are you going to respond to my comment just above about monetary goal setting and why it should be avoided? (to not place too much pressure on yourself, and because you do not have full control of how much you win and when you win)

[x] Good to see you back playing

[x] Good to see you have goals and targets

[x] Can't believe I'm seeing you follow BRM!

C'mon, it was #5 :f_cool:

I guess I am results oriented, considering I play ~2k hands per week, I have to micro-manage my BR and I want to have some extra money todo stuff with.

There is a point where tilt is a factor if I am having a losing session, and that's a beast I'm dealing with much better than I used to.

My monetary goals are never too lofty anyways :f_p:

Seems like much more than 2 weeks since I've updated... and not doing great moving my BR around and really just not playing my A-game.

Anyways played a coupl'a 6max satty's yesterday and got back to $120ish
on Stars, and now I have a good solid 3hrs a day to grind some SnG's.

its good to play with a fresh mind. it gives lessons learned time to sink in as well as giving you full control of your game. i found i was just making smarter decisions all the way from picking the buy ins all the way to winning 2/4 sngs to start off, which is always nice because winning one and bombing 3 is never a good feeling anyways.

how have you been?

btw...im baaaackkkkkkk

Still struggling with BR management

I've got $40 on 770 and about $8 on Stars(after some hyper satty's for 28fpps) 2/10 places paid $2.22t

goin to sleep now, and nephew's 1st b-day tomorrow so won't be playing till late tomorrow.

Finally got skype running for some sweats.

Watched Freelancers tonight w/ de niro, 50 cent and forrest whittaker.
One of the better dirty cop movies lately.

Peace \/m

I'MMMM BAAAAAACK!!!

Donking around between 5cd pl/nl, 8-game, HU Hypers up to $7(incl. sattelites), and some micro MTT's thrown in for good measure.

Doing good so far this week, BR is at $210(was hovering between $50- $100 on the weekend)

I'm off work this week, so hopefully I'll be able to grind some more while the running's good.

Peace \/m

Hey Man, Why u play Hyper ? Turbo I find alot easier to crush I grind them down a bit then start making them flip, doesn't seem to take much longer than a HU most of the time. ofc you get the odd grind one, I usually just load up another if I find myself getting bored with the back forth until it finally breaks.

I prefer hypers because they really do go faster than turbo.

Also, the satellites have good value, so playin a few of those.

Still haven't really touched 180's
