another month, another nice beginning, real nice 24 hrs...

Well, I think I have just played the most insane session of my life. How did I manage to lose almost all the all-ins for 2 hrs I'll never know. I got AA all in pre 4 times, lost all 4. KK lost to 88. Flopped sets crushed by OESD and FD. etc...

Got back to even after loooong hard work. I even managed to split once with AKs against AA, board came 3333x.

I haven't felt this bad on anothers behalf since Comic Relief.
Hard luck bro, I'd insert something posotive and supportive but I cant pull my jaw off the flaw.
The same sh*t happend to me today on party. Its a bit funny cuz i was reading ur posts this morning and then started grinding. In the first few hands clashed with quads twice (laughed when it happend) and soon after i got coolerd , tilted a bit and even tough i kept myself from doing stupid things still didnt manage to get back even. i ended -350$ or so (50nl).
For me seeing that this happens , to others, not just me it helps. Helps me psychologically , not loosing confidence and reduces the lvl of frustration because most of the times when sh*t like this happens u start doubting urself, in a non constructive way , i think.
What happend today for both of us i think is the finest recepi for disaster , meaning that u get coolerd , sucked out on , tilt and (for me atleast) it just seems that is just not working. When im talking about tilt im not saying that i become some spewmonkey or anything like that (got over that).
well that being said i wish u best of ....... fill the empty space , whit whatever u need.I don't think "luck" i the answer tough ♦
cheers
I think it's called work. I'm waiting for everything to even out, cause the last month where I was above EV was september 2011.
Got a friend of mine who lost 33 bis at NL 200 in 24 h, according to his AI Ev he was +1 bi. Shit happens just put the volume in and go with a good brm and you will be fine!
This should be in the learning to win section. CircoFlax is going through a very bad variance downswing and seems to be holding together quite well by minimising the losses wherever possible.
Unfortunate for it to happen but if you can keep your head in the end it helps others to see how bad swings can be even for a decent player.
