Hey guys ♦ I'm a humble fish from the micros looking to work my way up to the higher limits. I started a poker blog before, a few months ago, but forgot about it as I had many different things going on. I've managed to play about ~10.1k hands since I was first introduced to poker, and have lost every step of the way
Sick graph follows:

Awesome right?
It's from the time I first got my starting capital, all the way to today. As you can see, I'm not doing so great ♦ But I'm here to turn things around. I've been a recreational player up to this point, playing in my spare time and jumping from limit to limit.
My Story
Hah, story time
It's pretty standard really; A business partner of mine told me about poker, and the starting capital that pokerstrategy offered, and I decided to try it out. I donked it away pretty fast, clearly ♦ I then deposited another $50 and stuck to NL2 and SNGs, lost that within a few weeks of haphazard play. I had gotten my first job, and was dealing both with that and with moving house + equivalency exams in a foreign language, so I didn't give poker much thought.
I deposited another BR for NL2, said I'd dedicate time and do it right, and then another big move got in the way and I lost track of things ♦ I didn't study anywhere near enough, nor did I review. Then late September came and I got cocky and decided to try my hand at NL50
Terrible story, I know right?
But it's getting better. I've been spending time reading tons of articles on strategy and theory, and have begun solidly studying poker. I'm solidly beating NL2 atm, although I have some pretty bad leaks that I've become aware of. I'm starting this blog to post daily graphs and hands, and get some feedback on what I'm doing wrong (and right). I'm a computer programmer by trade, so I feel like this shouldn't be impossible for me if I actually dedicate time to it ![]()
Now some goals. The fun part
All pretty lowly and simple
Break even by Christmas this year
Get my blue line up positive, and learn to fold
Grow my BR to NL5 standards, and move up by Christmas
Read something poker related every day, and post links here
Post daily graphs for feedback
I'm basically moving poker into my life as something I need to study and focus on, rather than leaving it as a hobby. Trying to go pro
I was a bit inspired by TTs story (awesome guy), and realized that I just haven't been spending anywhere near enough time on poker. I have been playing without learning, and consistently losing
Hopefully I'll be turning that around.
I also co manage a business with Spungeh + program everything for it and more, so I'm extremely busy as it is. This will just put the pressure on ♦ I see this as replacing my youtube/wasted time tbh, so it shouldn't impact anything negatively. Just more moonies in the long run ![]()
Anyways. My graph may not have much hope, but I do. It's only the beginning
