BTN: $141.78 (141.8 bb)
SB: $100.50 (100.5 bb)
BB: $101.50 (101.5 bb)
Hero (MP): $110.93 (110.9 bb)
CO: $35.82 (35.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A A
Hero raises to $3, CO calls $3, BTN calls $3, 2 folds

Flop: ($10.50) 4 5 6 (3 players)
Hero bets $7.70, CO folds, BTN raises to $19, Hero calls $11.30

Turn: ($48.50) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $24, Hero folds

Opponent is a reg: 22/16 raise flop 9%
Overall a solid player, no special reads.

Other one is a fish.

My plan was to call his flop raise and c/shove blank turns (no 3, 8, diamond, possibly 2 and 7).
But do you think I should fold already on flop or even get it in?

Hi,

I think that is really bad plan since u never get called by worst there, you end up sticking your money in and losing it every time he has 2 pair +.

I don't like to Cbet these kind of boards vs regs, x/c is a much better line, plus it makes me balanced in this stop since I x/f x/c and x/r on these kind of boards, x/c JJ+ and some draws + some nut hands x/f airballs x/r 2 pair + and some draws.

If u plan to Cbet I'd much rather fold the flop then call his raise.

Hello kosmonaut111,

Check/Call really? And what you going to do on the turn? Check/Fold? Your hand is STRAIGHT FORWARD a weak hand when you going for Check/Call on the flop so that would be very bad line to pick.

I'd say it's a clear CB for us and might even get value from overpairs & draws. Our plan vs a smaller raise CB is rather stick to Bet/Fold than go for Bet/Broke or Bet/Call without specific information. Bet/Calling this board is clearly way too dangerous cause turn is full of bad cards and he rarely will just Check it behind.

Best Regards.
