Call flop raise turn here? Standard for 3bet oop hu, this way you also get a bet in on the river for sure

i agree. the standard line call flop/raise turn isn´t good here because we are oop ;). i like the hand as played. his 3-betting range is very wide against an sb opener so it´s an easy check/raise flop, bet turn... calldown to a 3-bet of course.

TerrorBlade is right it is the standard line but it's not often used and I like the check/raise flop line more as he can calldown with more hands.

Here I would even cap the flop as he can do this often with just to overcards to get a freecard or a freeshowdown.

I didn't say that actually I meant if you 3bet flop one advantage is if he's calling down with a marginal hand then you get the extra bet from the river when in this case the opponent gets the chance to check behind with his missed draws.

If we think he has a missed draw c/c river would be better right because we give villain the chance to bluff all his hands wich he would otherwise fold? They way henne played this hend i would c/c this river also.

Because of his 3-bet preflop I would give him more made hands and A-high hands than draws so you lose value if he checks them behind. The 2 is no good scare card either he might even be scared about it.
I like a bet more than check call. If he called preflop instead of 3-bet then check/call becomes better.

I don't like the passiveness here...

I would seriously consider capping the flop and leading the turn. It will get difficult if you get raised once again on the turn. Against a passive player you would have an easy fold, against an aggressive player a calldown might be the best option.

I donk/fold the river to get value from A high, a worse 8 and a PP.

Assuming he's unknown a Better PP than 8 won't fold, and neither will a 2 pair etc. What worse hand calls you on the river that 3bets the flop? Note that a worse 8 would continue betting the river and a PP maybe even a busted draw might 3 barrel it so you'd get value from them anyway.

Donking the river is counterintuitive because an A high/busted draw (id hope) won't call you here.

edit: wait so you what do you mean cirith? donk the river? are you sure you aren't being influenced by the fact he checked behind on the river? Most of the time he will have a made hand imo and continue betting the river.

I was talking about the aggressive line. The line where we cap the flop and keep betting.

As played I stay passive as he might even valuebet A-high against us.
