I want to be chosen for private coaching because learning from better players who are willing to share their knowledge one on one for free is a tremendous opportunity, which I definetly don't want to miss and since I already thought about hiring a coach but for people below NL50/NL100 who are investing only cash from poker winnings I find it not that +EV... so the decision whether to apply here or not is quite easy

My name's Alex, I'm 23 from Nottingham, England.

I'm a ZOOM NLHE player on Pokerstars - slowly solidifying into NL10 (having arrived from NL5). This is 6-max, by the way.

Poker wise
My aim is to be playing a solid NL25 game at a positive win-rate and have fewer moments of stupidity.
I play a pretty TAG game at the moment - with c-betting and 3betting being a bit higher than perhaps is profitable.

I found that an aggressive 21/19--VP/PFR is the way to beat NL5.
And am enjoying a slightly tighter 18/16 for NL10. The key here is to play a TAG game and not chase losses.

Identifying my weaknesses. I already know i have a tendency to overplay overpairs and I think being sucked out on when I hold an over pair (e.g. holding QQ vs. 65o - they chase bottom pair and hit two pair on a later street while) is the thing that will tilt me currently. Though less so as I am keeping an eye on myself.

I really want to understand this game. Primarily, I tilt less than I ever have simply because I enjoy it so much. I really am convinced I can get my BB/100 much higher than the standard 5/100 that it's sat at for some time, just by understand people, bets and situations.

Personal wise
I started playing little sit'n'gos and made my first deposit a week before black-friday. Much prefer cash games.

Might as well add a fact that will polarise people (using poker words already).
I like puns. I like good food and am into wine. I originally played bridge before moving to poker, which means I can speak to old people.
I also enjoy my music. So eclectic but love it all. In fact, send me some!

I was struggling myself if i want to be a poker pro in the future. I do want! Now its like a new beginning for me. I try to get may sh!t together and move in the right direction.

It would be lecker if one of the better players than me could watch how im doing and show me what is going on. Gain in confidence is what i need right now, i think.

I have to build solid base for my game and learn to understand it better and better everyday.

I'm playing nl50, it's going okish, but I get lost in so many spots, my decisions are 50/50 so many times, + my prf game is so tainted by years of sttmtt. So as you can see I could really use some help.. Be my samurai.

Been playing poker since the summer of 2010. played almost exlusively 6-max at small stakes and 200nl on softer sites than stars with decent results since 2011. I transitioned to playing HU 2 weeks ago and i'm loving it. The poker you have to play is more demanding and way more satisfying if you do it right. i think i am now at the crossroads where when im playing im able to think almost completely technical about the game, as in it isn't money but they are bbs and you want to make the most +EV play. i'd really like to cement this part of my game and not just wait for fish.

edit: so i'd really like coaching for NLHE HU 100-200nl and might take the coach on for longer if i'm convinced i will benefit from it

Hi, I'm a long time player that has only gotten serious about winning (playing well) this last summer. But since then I have been working very hard. I've almost finished the Beginner's Course. I've worked my BR up a lot. Being part of a study group has also been incredibly rewarding.

I have a BR on PokerStars of $450 and am playing NL10 FR with plans of mixing in NL16 as I get closer to $475/$500.

Though I am enjoying moving up in stakes and making some money, my real goal is to really improve at the game. I'm an American living in Japan, but I want my game to be at a level where I can make money playing live when I move back to Los Angeles next August.

Why am I playing:
I'm willing to play poker to make a living out of it, as my job, 100% Professional +EV.

How much time I am playing:
Around 8 hours a day.
2~3 hours in the morning for theory (articles, analysis, videos),
5 hours a day of practice.

Details:
My absolutely obligatory goal is to reach a limit that would simulate the income of a monthly 2k€+ salary, and see if I want to go even further at said point (currently excited at the idea to reach the highest stakes that my mind can handle).

These months have been tough on me in terms of time sync with IRL events, therefore I'm behind in theory, but I'll catch up; starting from tomorrow I should have a more tranquil and steady time.
I believe in myself and my capabilities, confident that if I will strictly apply my plans/schedule I will manage to reach satisfying income.

I really enjoy playing this sport, and the more I'm going through limits the more excited I am to play and improve, as the amount of mechanical straight forward play forced by lack of knowledge and loose passive fish decreases noticeably.

Poker so far is also helping me developing the auto-discipline that I was always lacking in terms of routines and the like. It is also helping me knowing myself in fields I didn't have an occasion to explore before, even though I was already a very self-aware person.

My motivation couldn't also be higher, as the sooner I get to my goal the sooner I'll get to live together with my soon-to-be wife (that currently lives in the US, we met online almost 3 years ago) in an independent reality that I'm really needing, out of this corrupted country.
This also applies some pressure on me, but I've been excited in developing myself to turn the pressure in productive will and excitement.
A thing to note, the first 2.5 months of my career my fiancee was living here in my house (until visa's expiration date) for the first time, therefore my schedule... well, let's say it wasn't that strict, lol.

Why am I applying:
Despite the material provided by this wonderful website being of top-notch quality, I feel the lack of an individual study from a professional coach.
I also feel that I have a leak somewhere that I'm not able to spot, that doesn't necessarily come from the lacking knowledge of the sport.
What I'm hoping for is guided sessions with a coach.

Fun Fact:
I knew poker thanks to one of my best friends, who told me the tales of a player (his friend, I knew him too) who recently became one of your professional coaches ♦
Starting from that day, I became closer to the idea, and eventually decided it would be my career.

Think i should be averaging 7bb/100 or wdv in the longrun not sure. Played over 700k hands so far, but lost my old databases, when i had to fix computer

History: Started as hobbie, then tryed going pro 2 months, won 1,6K and gave it a shot. Ex-gf hard relationship made me lose alot of time, so i didnt progress much after that, and i like to cashout alot. Came back to poker 1,25 months ago for real with a 150$ roll, won 650 since then, currently on nl16.

Goals: Going to the top, my goal is not just to win money but to be the best in the world.

Time im playing: Pretty much 2h study 8h play 5 days a week

Why should you pick me: Because one day ill be the one teaching you. So invest in yourself XD. Ok for real, ive went through Alot of material, post hands, create strategy threads, coach new guys, and constantly thinking on ways to improve, but having a coaching is the fastest way possible to evolve. Because im a fast learner i can fast grab the knowledge you have or some of it and evolve further. Also i ask alot of questions, it would be +ev to have me in a group everyone would learn. About me: Im a gamer, always loved games since young age, played alot of them, WoW, LoL, random Fps, passed all versions of IWTBG, and id love earning a living playing games thats why poker. I've been playing for couple of years with ups and downs, but never managed to do something significant in poker. I have pretty good basic understanding about the game, but so many leaks, that are making me slightly winning/breakeven player (pre rakeback). Recently been playing rush 6max on FTP. Struggled on NL50, so I moved down to NL25. I don't think I play too bad, but still around break-even/slightly losing. With little help I feel I could turn it around and climb a few limits.

I'm 25 M and I started with 50$ PS 3years ago, used to grind NL FR10&25 switched to SH25 and I'm about to move to NL50 for good but I'll need some help, we can discuss various topics from game theory to me[n]tal problems. Reason I never moved to NL50 for good is that I'm living from poker so I always had to cashout, give loans to family etc but now I have the roll. I speak english and hungarian pretty good + average romanian. Beside normal cash tables I also played Rush/Zoom for at least a year (FTP mostly, a few months zoom), about 3-5k sngs, and maybe 500-1000 mtts cant say exactly, never tracked those. And about maybe 100-200k hands PLO which I like alot but its too tilting for me, only play them nowadays when drunk or superbored ♦ I also played NL/PLO HU for about 2-3weeks.

I'm up for cash/mtt/sng (in this order) coaching, whatever comes I happily accept it, always willing to learn something new.

I have crushed the 45mans over the last year with big breaks in between, but wanted something new. So I have started with hu cash. Started with 50NL overolled and moved this week all ready up to 100NL. I like to join weak regs quite a lot, not that I can get that big of winrate, but it is just fun. Only almost no reg at party plays me anymore

Slowly started learing and moved up in limits up to NL50. Played mainly in FTP and then FTP got shut down along with my money. Didn't play poker for quite a while. Now that I managed to get my money back from FTP I started playing again but I am literally getting rapped at NL50. I need some help.

Goals

- I need to learn how to play the right way.

- Short term monetary goal - successful play at NL100.

I'm from Estonia and I play SH NL50 at the moment. I started with freerolls, then played sngs up to 15$ until I reached 2.2k something bankroll then moved to SH cash and HU where I've played slightly above breakeven. One of my biggest strengths is that I don't tilt almost at all + I know when I should stop the session.

I would love to think more and more closely on spots when playing poker (I play 6 tables at a time) and possibly make living of it in the future.

I am afraid no one is going to coach NL2 fish I'm so sad.

Just in case someone have any sort of sympathy or gratitude to our kind and consider this, I'm a great fish to pick!

hi.
i play 6max cash games and i have beaten nl10 over a fairly large sample.
but i am just not able to win at nl20 which is really really annoying because there shouldnt be much of a difference.
i am a competetivr player and i hate loosing but i am loosing too much money everytime i play nl20 so i go back to nl10 win and then again burn em away at nl20.
so i would love if coach could help me find my problem and fix it so that i can beat the limit..

I am currently playing NL20 SH but around breakeven for the past year and if counting lifetime - I am loosing fish at it

I am playing on unibet. I like to play relaxed, not like a machine, so I play only 2 tables, but trying to observe opponents, take notes and find how I can exploit them.

I would like to get coaching from Bogdan and Bearbier if they are in the list to choose, because I probably know them most and I believe in their ability to make a quality coaching. ( Of course there are much more who can make quality, but I just say I know them most from current PS coaches).

Hello, my name is Robert and i'm a 23 years old civil engineer from Romania.

I stared playing poker around 2010, and at the end of 2011 i was 18 tabeling NL50 FR on the ongame network with a win rate of ~3bb/100( EV wise) . Unfortunately, being on the final year at the university was pretty challenging and the amount of studying needed in order to graduate was pretty high, so i had to take a break from poker.

After graduating and spending all my BR, i decided to make poker a full time job, and stared playing again on september this year and in the last 4 months I've been struggling at NL20 and NL30 SH, being a slightly wining player.

Getting back into the game it seems to be a lot harder than i expected, and maybe i don't make the correct adaptions at the SH tables .

Anyway, a little help from an experienced player with be very useful and it would benefit me a lot.
