Happy Holidays All!

I'm currently putting together a list for the upcoming series of Aussie Millions tournaments. For the past couple years, this has been widely regarded as one of the, if not the softest tournament in the world. Crown Casino does a very good job of running a lot of satellite qualifiers for all their events at the casino itself as well as across many different online poker sites.

Keep in mind that I haven't played significantly volumes on any tracked sites nor have I put in any significant volume on online MTTs. There are, however, a ton of low stakes SNG games on each account as a result of coaching work that I do for Pokerstrategy (so if you want to use the stats I would suggest applying a filter first).

I have, however, played a reasonable amount of live tournaments, especially these past couple of years. Most of these series have been with Australasians in Australasia, so I feel I have a good grasp on how a lot of the "regulars" play, as well as how the average unknown plays.

In addition to this, my first year at Aussie Millions was AFAIK my most profitable trip. I bricked the main but managed to get a second place as well as a 5th place in 2 of the side events. On top of this I managed to play a ton of cash games and win a sick amount. This year I will be focusing solely on the tournaments so hopefully this will show in the results.

Lastly, over the past year, I've been doing a ton of work on my game off the tables, including doing hand judgments on our pokerstrategy boards here.

As a result of all this, I am putting a 1.3 mark-up on the package (or 30%).

Schedule

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ah8vyvjN1BeodHBfUnFaclFmYll0T19FSkFjWkMxd1E

This spreadsheet will be updated throughout the series to track my outlay in each event, along with any comments about my play etc.

It has been brought to my attention that every single event outside of the Main Event and Re-Buy events are 2x chance. So if you bust in the first couple levels before registration closes, you get a chance to buy in again for the full amount. Because these tournaments are amazing spots, I will always be re-entering into the event.

Note that in maybe 99.9% of the situations you aren't risking the full amount as I will have some mincashes peppered in with my results, as well as make a couple day 2s. Even if I don't cash in the day 2s, this will mean that I end up playing a smaller schedule. I also imagine few re-entries will be done (almost halving your cost immediately).

Total Cost of all Events with Mark-Up is $58,500 USD (it's rounded down),

thus 0.1% = 58.5$
0.2% = 117$
0.5% = 292.5$
1% = 585$
2% = 1170$
5% = 2925$
10% = 5850$
20% = 11700$

Minimum is 0.1% at the moment, I may lower this in the future. I will be selling up to 60% of myself.

Payment

Stars is the preferred payment method. Moneybooker is also acceptable. Moneybooker email is jackson.havoc@gmail.com . AUD or NZD Bank Transfer is also possible. Post in here and then PM me in order for my bank details.

When I ship all the moneys, we will calculate the amount by xe.com mid market rates. I will then pay you by Pokerstars if it's a small amount. If it's a big amount you will have the option of taking a direct bankwire from Australia or the face value on Pokerstars.

Coverage

Will be updated soon with the site where you can follow this.

Full Schedule is viewable here

Structure for the Tournaments can be viewed here

Terms and Conditions for the Series can be viewed here

Due Dates

Due date for payment as well as booking action will be the midnight of the 15th of January, ET. I think this translates to 5AM on the 16th for Europeans using UTC.

As a result of all this, I am putting a 1.3 mark-up on the package (or 30%).

Included tournaments:

17 Jan: Event 1 - 1100$ NLHE Repechage. There are 3 day 1s for this. If you bust you can come back the next day and re-enter. I will be charging 3300$ on the schedule for this, and 2200$ will be refunded if I play just the 1 flight.
21 Jan: Event 2 - 1100$ PLO
22 Jan: Event 3 - 1100$ NLHE Shootout
23 Jan: Event 4 - 1100$ NLHE/PLO Rotation
24 Jan: Event 5 - 1100$ NLHE 6-max
25 Jan: Event 6 - 1150$ NLHE Rebuy. With the structure, I'm going to estimate 4 add-ons for this on average, so 5150$ will be charged in the schedule, refunds if necessary.
26 Jan: Event 7 - 1650$ NLHE Bounties. This is not a bounty tournament, it's some special event where a bounty is freerolled by Crown Casino on some players.
27 Jan: MAIN EVENT - 10600$
29 Jan: Event 14 - 1100$ Terminator. Standard bounty tournament.
29 Jan: Event 15 - 2500$ HORSE
30 Jan: Event 16 - 1100$ NLHE
31 Jan: Event 18 - 550$ NLHE
31 Jan: Event 19 - 2500$ NLHE 6-max
1 Feb: Event 22 - 5000$ 8-game Mixed Event
2 Feb: Event 23 - 600$ Turbo NLHE 1 Rebuy 1 Addon - Assumed to cost 1600$ total.
3 Feb - Event 26 - 5000$ NLHE 6-max

Total cost 44450 AUD or 46943.65 USD. With 1.3 mark-up that's about 61000 USD rounded down.

Note that in maybe 99.9% of the situations you aren't risking the full amount as I will have some mincashes peppered in with my results, as well as make a couple day 2s. Even if I don't cash in the day 2s, this will mean that I end up playing a smaller schedule.

thus 0.1% = 61$
0.2% = 122$
0.5% = 305$
1% = 610$
2% = 1220$
5% = 3050$
10% = 6100$
20% = 12200$

Minimum is 0.1% at the moment, I may lower this in the future. I will be selling up to 60% of myself. Mark-up will be lowered if not enough people buy. If this happens, you will get it at the reduced price!

Sorry for question as there is probably obvious answer;
You're going to play only 16 tournaments listed above ?

I may play some satellites or small tournaments besides these. However they will not be included in the package obviously.

Looks interesting. Might take +1% depending on some of the other stakes I have running at the moment. :)

I estimate about 30% will be sold, so my outlay will be about 27k i think. I'm allowing for up to 60% to be sold still, dreamers gonna dream etc

watch this space! I will be removing a bunch of tournaments from the schedule. Mark-up will remain the same, however I'm leaving in only the really soft tournaments, so it's an amazing deal IMO.

if not enough people buy, the 5000$ 8-game will be the next to go. at the moment i'm not planning on lowering the mark-up ever, will just gamble it up if no one buys _cool:
