Maybe the flop board texture was simply bad for a CB. Well, this guy steals so often, I feel that I have to defend sometimes. Do you know any good article, website, forum or anything about SH resteal? I really dont know how and when to resteal

I really dont like to resteal with this type of hand against a play who is not folding too much vs. resteal nor post-flop.

This is because even in a A high flop we would be in trouble against his range because he can defend with better Ax than ours (AT-AQ).

As played, I give up on the turn. Anything that didnt fold on the flop will fold on the turn.

Hi Imimba,

Preflop: biggest mistake we can make is to 3-bet bluff a fishy player. From the small sample we have this guy doesn't like folding much and A9o is a bit thin for value OOP.

So against him I'm pretty much increasing my 3-bet for value range to lets say AJs+, AQo+, TT+ and not 3-bet bluffing at all.

Always look at the opponent type before we look to resteal.

As played I would not even cbet against such a guy on a board where I expect to get called a lot. And since we don't have much hand equity we can't barrel turn/river much.
