Thanks :)
I will, actually I'm planning to post much more RL content here...

Poker sucks this year, though. Sick downswing continues, almost down 2k at this point. I took two days off yesterday and today, due to some RL stuff.

However, I'm finding it to be a learning experience. I was listening to an old Mental game of poker podcast just a few days before it all started, and Jared was saying how bad variance and the fact that your emotions are clouding your judgement can (and should) be used to pin-point your leaks. Only "stuff" you learned to the level of unconscious competence sticks when you tilt. Everything else just goes to hell. So basically I'm taking notes on every mistake I find, and sorting them out before attempting to fix them :)

In other news, I bought an external monitor (Dell U2312HM), an external keyboard (Logitech K800), and a steelseries QCK mouse-pad to go with my old Logitech Performance mouse MX, so my grind-station is much better now (all hooked up to a Asus N53 laptop). Should make for much easier sessions :)

Going to put in a tiny session now, before a few friends come for FIFA+Pizza+beer night :f_love: :f_love: :f_love:

Just gonna subsribe here as i'm planning to play HU Hypers aswell. First goal is to play 15's profitable. What for ROI is possible do you think at those limits nowadays?

Hey, thanks for stopping by.

Well, I had 4% over 2k games, running a bit over EV (purged hands, so no EV graph, this is from sharkscope). I think 5% is definitely possible on the 15s, but don't worry about it anyway. Just focus on improving and moving up as quickly as possible, no point in chasing your true ROI.

So, I might as well update when I'm here. A terrible month continues. Almost 2k down at this point, and 1.3k below EV. I'm trying not to look at the results while playing, and it's sort-of working, but not really. I can feel running terribly...

To top it off, I just don't have enough time to grind it out. I play ~70-80 games/day, but it's two-tabling, so not many hours... Oh well, just going to have to suck it up :)

Congrats on results in 2012!
I see that this year hasn't started so great but don't give up, with your drive and dedication I am sure you will crush 60s if you work on it more.
I like the update on life related stuff, I will also balance my life vs poker as poker has and is taking about all day in my life. Will write more about that in my blog, check it out when you get the chance :)
All the best and crush those 60s soon :)

Yeah, but mine is on the 30s :(

@Ivica: Thanks for the kind words :) Yeah, no point doing 1 thing 100% of the time and getting bored in two weeks. I'm following your blog, just not posting (well, I'm not posting anywhere but here for the most part).

Hey guys,

it's been another tough week. It's been pretty much BE this week, but as I'm running pretty terribly the whole month, it sucks a lot... I'm still playing pretty solid poker, and hoping for it to turn around. Not much else I can do...

Anyway, it's my Slava (St. John) today, so pretty much food + drinks with family and friends. Can't beat that, IMO. It continues tomorrow as well, and I'll actually have some people over on Tuesday, too. Celebrating like a boss _love:

So, next week I have a small exam, but it will take an afternoon of my time, then (as I already said) I'll have people over, have work, etc...

BUT!

I've signed to the accountability group in the productivity skype group, so no slacking.

Primary goal: Do the whole insanity rest-week. 6 workouts, Monday-Saturday. It wont be hard for me to motivate myself to do it, I need the workouts (and not in the sense "I need it in order to lose weight", but in the "I physically need it" - addiction kind of way.

Secondary goal: Structure my time each day, so that I have at least one 2-hour period of time to put in a poker session, consisting of: (25min poker + 5 min of rest)x4. If I have more than a 2hour window of time, separate it in half and take a 15-20 minutes break. Don't do stupid shit online, play poker in that period of time. Don't look at results while playing.

Optional: Run better.

Ok guys, it's already been a long post, and 2nd half of 49s @ Falcons is starting now. Capernick (sp?) is pretty damn good, hope they can turn this around.

Hey men, СРЕТНА СЛАВА ДОМАЋИНЕ!

After every bad beat comes a heater, it will come soon, I'm sure. As for insanity, I made a pause since New Year, and I will start from the beginning since I was on week 4 ATM.

Nail the goals and keep it up

Hey man, Im going to transfer to Hyper Hu's soon. How do you recommend I start? I have: PT4, PT3, HEM, HEM2, ICMIZER and most standard vids from a certain site :)

Is starting the $5 level on FTP w/ 100bi roll realistic? (I have another 100+ bi set aside as a backup). Also, is $12/hour achievable on the stars $15s, while one tabling?

Apologies if these have been answered earlier in your blog

PT4 is cool, I use it along coffeehud, I liked HEM1 better, though. Never used PT3 and HEM2 sucks. ICMIZER pretty good for when you want to do calculations.

I started with the hypers pack from that same site, and also lots of good hypers videos there (coffeeyay's are my favorite). You need a solid foundation for hypers, solid preflop play is the key at first.

100BIs good for start, after being sure you're winning (2-3k games with ~2% ROI is pretty clear) you can move up with a more aggro BRM. I moved up with 50BIs for the level and moved down with 35BIs. Now being a bit more conservative when moving to the 60s...

If you have spare money as you say, get the hypers pack IMO, it will pay itself many times over. I don't think you'll ever lose 100BIs on the 5$ even if you have no clue about hypers :)

12$/h looks OK. And feel free to ask any questions you want :)

Atleast use more than 10BI BRM, cuz i just busted my Roll with 10BI BRM.

I'm so smart. _love:

Was just messing around with my BR ofc, if it was my 'full' roll, i would've use something like 75BI's.

Hey guys, I haven't updated in ages. I've been really busy, had 3 exams last 10 days, worked almost every day etc...

January has been a particularly shitty month. Down more than $2k, EV also below 0, really really terrible.

It's not all runbad, either. I found out that I'm not as good as I thought, and my B-game (the one that I play most of the time when two-tabling) isn't good enough to beat the games. And while two-tabling I can easily slip into button clicking mode and then tilt once I realize I'm only clicking buttons.

So the logical step was to drop one table and focus on improving my entire range of play. I got the new hypers masters pack as well, some really good stuff in it. I'm adding some stuff from the Mental game of poker to my warm-up and things to focus on while playing in order to improve that C-game...

Hopefully the next update should be on a more positive note, I'll also have more time to play in February and volume should help the results :)

Hey boys and girls, time for a short update.

Things look like picking up after a shitty start to the year. I'm much more focused on studying and on my decision-making in game. I'm working on fixing my leaks, mainly not playing enough hands in both positions and being too weak-tight postflop...

Unfortunately, I've had a particularly shitty week in every other regard. First my knee started hurting like a bitch so I couldn't do the insanity workouts. Then Superbowl messed with my sleeping schedule and working 3 days in the morning after drinking out late the previous evening surprisingly didn't help. All of those meant my energy levels were super low, and it impacted my motivation to play... Looks like a lot of excuses, I know, but I'm just stating facts. I'm aware that I suck.

I should have plenty of time tomorrow, as I'm not working or doing anything else for that matter, so plan is at least 100 games.

Off to read some more Mental Game of Poker now and sleep.

Hey everyone,

I'm on a break in the Saturday Duel, so I figured I might update here...

February is going much better than January, at least so far. I think I improved a lot the past few weeks, and my 1-tabling game is now pretty good. It sucks that it goes to pieces when I try to 2-table...

Still, I'm managing solid volume for my standards. It helps that I don't have anything in uni until the end of the month. Apart from work, Insanity and friends/family stuff, I can focus 100% on poker, and it really shows.

Speaking of Insanity, I'm taking it slow now, because my knee started hurting again. I found the guilty party as well, it's "Max interval plyo", with all the jumps... I have 16 days left, so I might take more rest days, but I'm gonna finish it.

Another day, another update. No poker content this time, though :)

Turned 25 today, and yes, I feel old, gtfo.

Got an awesome gift tonight, though. My favorite team, Red Star Belgrade won the basketball Derby game against Partizan (3 in a row now), and we're now tied for 1st in the league, at least until tomorrow's matches...

Once videos of the atmosphere are uploaded I'll make sure I post them here. Any sports fan will like them (well, apart from Partizan fans, obviously).

Hvala, brate :)

As promised, end of the game and celebration of players with the fans:

Also, I've found a great video about Belgrade. It's a preview for a movie coming soon:

Two very good reasons to come to Serbia, IMO ;)

Hey guys, time for another shortish update.

Managed to get some more games in this week. Played about 300 games, which is not that great, but also played some of those new 10.20$ hyper hu mtts, and tonight played some MTTs as well.

My game has never looked better, if I may say so myself. Lots of good videos came out lately, and I feel all of them have helped me, more or less. Still just one-tabling, although I started adding 1 more table when feeling focused. Still haven't learned plenty of stuff to UC, so I won't switch to 2-tabling yet.

In the 10.20$ mtts I have't had any real success. The structure is weird. They start with 1000 chips and 20/40 blind levels with some small antes. So 25bb like "normal" hypers, but then go straight to 40/80 and 60/120. So very limited poker time. Fields are soft, as expected, and the 1st prize gets 1.2k-1.6k, so they might be worth playing alongside my normal 1-table grind.

And in the MTTs tonight, I got deepish in the 26$ 16k GTD on FTP, and busted losing 3 flips in a row, which would've gotten me in the top10 (the first one, that is). Won about 50$ in the end. Ran bad (and probably made a shittone of mistakes) in all the others...

As for the next week, my classes at uni start again, so 2 or 3 days with 4-6 hours will be wasted there, and with work and insanity workouts, I'll have a pretty limited time for poker. 300 games is pretty much all I could hope for.

Night, guys.
