I don't know if i should write this cause it's personal but that's why poker blogs are more like "diary" than blog itself
Ok if i'll continue to live like now, i can guaranteed that i will not get SNE,SN or even gold in Stars but the worst thing is i will not be able to fullfill my biggest dream...
Last year i bought a book about how to archieve your dreams and find the path to happiness. At first i was sceptical cause i thought it was another "The Secret" bullshit but i was kinda suprised cause it was more like tale of self-discovery and the story was so heart-warming and easy to read so i finished it in one day but at that time i was too lazy to do anything(procrastination)
But i started to read it again few days ago and this time it was hard to read cause i understud that my life is complete opposit of how i want to live and it was and is kinda depressive
Anyway i was never happy with my life, and always wanted to start new life elsewhere, ofcourse it's not like i'm living bad right now but even if i have everything i need and could get much more easly it wouldn't make me happy, dunno why, just have a feeling that my place is somewhere else...
So i want to share some obstacles which are hard to notice(text from the book)
1) Procrastination:
It hates goals of any kind and can sniff one out a mile off. When somone sets a goal it's drawn to it like a bee to nectar. It then sets out to sabotage the goal by seducing the goal-setter in to putting off taking action. It can sense when someone is wavering over taking action and will then seduce them by offering temporary relief from the negative feeling associated with taking that action. However, what it's really doing is offering you a drug in the hope you will get addicted and the drug is called Inaction. It will take away the discomfort that is often associated with the thought of taking action. But in reality the relief is only short-lived. When you succumbg to Inaction, the discomfort or dread associated with taking action will only come back again, but this time worse than before. In the end you become so demoralised by the effects of Inaction that you abandon your goals all together - and Procrastination is victorious!
That's why Procrastination is so deadly and seductive. Procrastination is mastefull at finding your weaknesses and exploiting them for its own gain. It will convince you that you should wait until everything is perfect before you take action. It will offer you a number of reasons why now is not the perfect time to take action. Yet, this is a big lie.
The only perfect time to take action is right now. The longer you put things off, the more opportunities will pass you by and the more difficult taking action will become.
But how do I make sure that Procrastination doesnt come back and take me unawares again ?
By calling a good friend of mine - Motivation. By asking a series of questions, which I call power questions, Motivation will appear in the form that is most effective for fighting Procrastination at that particular moment. And the questions are:
:heart:What will happen if I do take action?
:heart:What will happen if I don't take action?
:heart:What won't happen if I do take action ?
:heart:What won't happen if I don't take action ?
2) Dejection:
Action is indeed vital to achieving your goals. However, things don't always go your way, even when you do take action. This is when Dejection pounces and savagely attacks Motivation. You see, Dejection attacks Motivation by making you think that you have failed. This feeling of failure prevents you from taking further action. In a way, Dejection is even more powerful than Procrastination because it has the power to not only delay you taking action, but to stop you dead in your tracks. It can even convice you that you should abandon your goals altogether or make you believe that you never wanted to achieve them in the first place.
To find Resilience you need to be first need to change your view of "failure". To do this, you need to be aware that Dejection is in fact a great illusionist. It can make anything seem like a failure if you let it. However, you can conquear Dejection by asking another series of power questions.
What's good about what happened?
What can i learn from what happened?
What else is good that is happening at the moment ?
What stopped me getting what i want ?
What can i do differently next time ?
What else can i do to make things the way i want them to be ?
What can i do to enjoy the process towards getting what i want ?
3) Fear:
When you prepare to take action, you can often encounter fear. Fear can also stop you taking action. To overcome fear you need to call upon Courage.
You can do this by asking the following questions:
What will happen if i do take action ?
What won't happen if i do take action ?
What will happen if i don't take action
What won't happen if i don't take action ?
4) The limiting belief:
Limiting belief is a belief that is not helpful to achieving your goals. Humans in particular are prone to collecting evidence only to support "limiting beliefs" due to a part of their brain which causes them to concentrate on the negative and to overlook the positive! You see, left to its own devices, the human brain can be very destructive! So, humans need to be especially careful to actively look for the positive evidence instead of the negative stuff.
Let's say that you held the belief that all humans were basically bad and were out to get you. If that is what you truly wanted to believe, you could probably find plenty of evidence that refuted it. However, on the other hands, if you wanted to believe that all humans were basically good and would go out of their way to help you, then you could probably find plenty of evidence to support that belief as well!
In order to build a new belief, you have to really want to believe it. You then have to actively look for the evidence to support it. It's not always an easy task - but it is possible! You just have to want it enough!
5) Regret:
It will appear naturally when you succumb to Inaction. However, it often appears even when you do take action and its role then is to stop you from enjoying your success. You inadvertently attract it when you ask questions suck as "Why didn't I do something before?" or "Why did I put things off for so long?" When you come across Regret, it can often lead you back to Dejection.
How do deal with Regret ?
First of all you need to call upon acceptance. You do this by acknowledging that what's done is done and the past can't be changed. Once you have done this you are in better position to deal with Regret. You then deal with Regret in the same way as you dealt with Dejection.
What is good that is happening now ?
What can I learn from what happened in the past ?
How can i use this to make things even better in the future ?
How can i enjoy the process towards making things better ?
phewww ♦ it took me 3 hours to write this down and also all the credits goes to Samantha Babington who wrote this book "Serendipity's Secret."
I wrote this cause i wanted to share this gem with everyone and i hope i will not get asked to delete it
Anyway i deposited 640$ and my bankroll is 850$ right now, so i'm grinding NL5+NL10 Zoom and gonna try out CAP tables when i'll have at least 1300$ bankroll and move to NL25 when i'll have 1500$ bankroll.
I will update my blog daily, sometimes with graphs, sometimes with plain hand/profit style and also will star to work on my "Wheel of life." Even if it's personal i will gladly share my dreams, goals etc. with everyone and will make this thread epic till i will get SNE in stars
GL!
There is a quote that I read somewhere some of these days that I think will help you! It's something like this: "People say that motivation doesn't last. Neither does shower, thats why we do it everyday."
I personally believe that if anyone focus on any goal and keeps evolving in a path to mastery in that area, wonderful things can happen. I have set some huge goals for myself this year too, and even if its hard I'm going for it! Good luck mate! Cheering for your success!

January graph:

Kinda lame, but i'm happy that in the end i won something but anyway gonna concentrate on this month and leave January as a wierd month
Also no more predictions ♦
So Today i played 10k hands and had a interesting day, even if im -6$ at the end i'm suprised cause i played only 1k in NL10 and was down -40$ ♦ but somehow had unexpected upswing in NL2 and NL5 and managed to get everything back. About NL10, i was suprised that opps were 3betting a lot and everytime had a strong hands, maybe coincidence but it was hard to play vs them and hope tomorrow will be brighter

Meh, i still play NL2+NL5 zoom even if my bankroll is enough to play much higher its just hard to get use to losing 10$ in one allin, dunno why. Also as you see i didnt played much this month and also have big mental problems with game altogether
Hard to find any motivation to grind, maybe because im playing in NL5.
But anyway, soon will start 95 billion hand celebration and as i already participated in last two and was kinda succesfull in them(132$+57$) so im gonna grind hard as the promotion will start but i have small dillema whatto play.
I talked with poker friends and they suggested that i should play NL2 cause you can find seats easly and it's easy to play on 35+ tables but kinda dont like it cause it takes forever to even rake 1vpps in them so i'm thinking that maybe i should play NL5. But it takes a long time to open 35+ tables in NL5 so maybe its not a good idea too. There's also one other option, i could play in NL10 and use mss strategy and it's much easier to get fill my screen with 35+ tables but also it's kinda risky cause the swngs can be veeeery brutal especially with mss and if im grinding 35 tables i could ealsy have 30-100bi swings
So i wanted to know what other people will play and on how much tables and also i would appreciate if someone could give help me to decide what should i play cause i have no idea
thanks
Nice to hear from you again, im not used to multy table so I cant imagine how you can play 35 fucking tables at once ♦!
If you play so much hands It shouldnt bother you going all in for 5 or 10€, doesnt really make sence since you play so many hands and rake quite a bit.
Get a better mindset and start pwning fish! Good luck ;)!

Thanks and yeah i will start to grind hard NL10 after Milestone promotion will end and even if it's a little frustration with my current br its stupid to not to play at that level, heck i could even play NL25 but anyway hope to move to CAP by next month and hope it will be succesfull

good luck!
Thanks, its not that im doing well cause i didnt play much this month and my winings arent that big this month neither but on the bright side at least i won something and hope that after milestone i'll have motivation to grind NL10 and than move to CAP. Damn i want to play CAP so much that i just cant stand to play these 100bb games
But the only problem is that i need 2500$ br for them, ehh life isnt easy ♦
Ok soon will start milestone promotion and i will GRIIIINNNDDD a lot and hope to hit a BIG one or more so that's why im gonna start to play on 32 tables and later will open 3-8 tables more so in the end i hope to play on 40 tables, hehe, will not be easy but i hope to also have a decent winrate in them by the end of the promotion
So if people are interested i can post an update as soon as i hit milestone and show my graph overall of this promotion...
But anyway, only left 30 million hands until it will start so it seems i will need to start grinding in night and as i thought it seems i will not be able to sleep much for the next 5-7 days ♦
So let's start!!!
