You two are like an old married couple on here.

I have a really weird image in my head of you both sat there next to each other on computers in silence, posting to each other on here

Something must have went horribly wrong here

So that's it then. From now on we flip a new page in this blog with entirely new vision and feel to it. It would be about hand posting, equity analyses and strategy discussion. No more old couple stuff - we don't want these weird images to get... weirder :f_biggrin:

Liub4in... why you little... look what you've done

Don't even remind me :@ :@ :@ I'm so angry! I blew away 4 BI in 20 min while I was sitting out of the tables. Doing bullshit after bullshit, first i started playing zoom which wasn't that bad until I miss clicked one table at NL50 and before I realized it, I was charged 50c at 2 tables just too have the opportunity to fold some useless hands _cry:. Thanks god I came to my senses and closed the tables before I've done more damage. The feeling was awful, just having my half bankroll on 2 tables. But beside that I had an awesome session with 16 BI in profit at some point, before the NL50 bull crap Finally poker started to pay my money back lol _grin:

We are now making some opponent analyzis and while doing that we came acros something very special. It's a rare gem that Liub4in will now post for your amusement. Real fish madness plus a decent track worthy of it, of course. Enjoy and long live NL2 :f_love:

Hey guys! I did something crazy yesterday, After my regular session around 4h, which ended brake even and a little under EV, I started to play some Zoom just to try it, turned out to be a lot of fun. After around 30 min I was 5 Bi in profit and really deep at all the tables and than it all started to went on minus of 7 BI at first I was a lot under EV but than it cached up. I know its wrong to push and chase to catch losses but I had to try and stayed in total of 985 minutes and 11,680 hands till i came on a profit of 9BI. Long live the fish and just Zoom from now on :f_cool:
BTW I'm thinking to move up one limit, since I have the bank roll already,

OMG can't wait to whine a little here for my bad luck and how I got my ass kicked at Zoom :f_cry: :f_cry: Never realized that playing against more REGs is so complicated. I kept my TAG game from full ring normal tables at 6 players zoom and suddenly my value bets became value ownage :f_eek: We did a nice long hand review session with Awesomeo yesterday and turned out I have some issue with bet sizing (never understood why it is so important). And Totally overplayed some hands, although with the fish they would be fine. Anyway I sited couple of minute on regular tables and did a nice session (3BI+) Long live the fish will keep you updated on my next few sessions.

I read the article "The quick guide to skyrocketing your poker and life productivity - COMPLETED!" And I starting to change some things. I have some pretty healthy lifestyle considering exercise (I work out at the gym 4 times a week), not drinking and not smoking I quit coffee 2 months ago but sometimes i feel like having one and still have some problems with my energy. I guess it comes from nutrition and sleeping. So question is how can I change my feeding methods and sleeping once. Will think it over and put some goals will update it here how am I holding it up. 30 days make it a habit ;)

Late February report

Failed both my volume and my move up goals so no diamont, nl NL100, no boot camp, no nothing. Also lost money so it would be fare to say that February sucked really hard It went up and down, almost broke even at the end but thanks to my last 2 sessions and my sexy bluffs  I finished under.

One good thing came out of it - I believe I finally figured how to deal with my biggest leak so far and I'm implementing new changes to my game, ranges etc.

Also we talk poker with Liub4in almost daily over scype so that helps a lot too.

In result March looks promising so far. I played 6-7 hours every day, trying out my new strategy and of course when i get bored it's bluffing time :f_love:

I got owned really hard in a hand 3 days ago but now I think I really like how I played it in terms of balance. Villain is a reg and we played quite a bit with him. Feel free to trash at will :)

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BTN: $30.61 (61.2 bb)
SB: $50.25 (100.5 bb)
BB: $102.78 (205.6 bb)
UTG: $50 (100 bb)
MP: $45.93 (91.9 bb)
Hero (CO): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1

Flop: ($3.25) 2 J 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

Turn: ($7.25) 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5, BB raises to $15, Hero calls $10

River: ($37.25) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $12.75, BB calls $12.75

Results:

Spoiler

$62.75 pot ($2.50 rake)
Final Board: 2 J 6 8 A
BB showed 4 4 and won $60.25 ($29 net)
Hero showed 9 Q and lost (-$31.25 net)

I realize that on the river I rep big nothing there like busted FD but decided to tell him I had A high flush on the turn, so now I'm going for thin value. Or whatever to take him of his bluff. Of course he folds 44 anytime to normal size bet but I think I like the small one too, since I may actually do it with A high FD in this spot. Too bad he had a pair so he went for curiosity call.

Beh, shitty month. Also missed the bootcamp so I feel your pain on that part. :f_biggrin:

About the hand, you obv got owned yes. I think it doesn't make much sense to bet Ax on the river here (if you had it) since he polarizes his range with his turn check/range. So he has air or big hand. Air isn't calling and you loose vs big hand.
That said, I would be more inclined to fold to this betsize than to a normal-sized bet.

Hiall :)

I had a little upswing last few weeks, running 12 BIs above EV, it's almost embarrassing but I'l take it :f_biggrin: Fish on a heater here :f_love: I'm also putting in nice volume and that plus the rungood equals NL100 shot. I don't know when exactly I'll do it but make sure to stay logged in when the give away begin :f_biggrin: My last few shots at higher limits went on with nice combo of spew and stationing crapy made hands, will see how it's gonna go this time. _love:

Hey guys so a quick review on what happened last week. I shot at NL5 and I got a welcoming session of almost -9 BI, yep exactly minus 45$, half of it under EV I got so many suck-outs and bad beads that I was on tilt and helped the other half with overplayed hands and disrespecting deep stacks. :f_mad: Good part was that from the grinding I've cleared some bonuses and my bank roll could take staying on NL5, I sited up set a limit of 11 BI shooting money and came back at the tables and made a profit of 50BI. Sadly on the very next day I lost again 8 BI had some pretty bad sessions afterwards too. Although I can't blame it all on bad beads and bad luck I think the reason is not my bad skill but the lower amount of fish on NL5 which can't compensate for the multiple mistakes I still have. So I moved back on NL2 and I'm gonna grinde back till I clear those mistakes and can shoot NL5 again

So first shot at NL100 was interesting :) I booked my 2nd biggest $$$ session ever with 11 BIs up at the begining, but after 40k hands I broke even and finished with my 2nd biggest looser for 9 BIs which was my final score before moving down to NL50:

Spoiler

Beside that I had good month at NL50 before and after the shot so I'm ready to go for it again. Also happy to finaly post something decent here :)

Spoiler

I was very glad about my volume in March - I played 135 hours and 117k hands - my best accomplishment for a long time. I had a lot of non poker stuff too so I can't believe I did it. Good thing about it is that I'm now 40% of the way to supernova and if I establish on NL100 even with smaller volume I should hit it aroung summer. Already cleared 1.6k bonus but have to wait till SN to get it :f_confused:

True story :)

So since the end of March I managed to grind enough $ for 2 more shots at NL100 Zoom. In April I took a shot and after losing 7 BIs dropped down to NL50. In May I repeated and lost 12 BIs. This time the NL50 experience was a bit frustrating aswell and I'm down 12 BI there too.

All in all so far this year I'm up at NL50 while running hugely over breakevenish EV and I'm down at NL100 at -3.2 bb/100 over 84k sample.

Not very satisfying results obviously. I expect to hit supernova in August-September if I stay at NL50 and I'm keeping the points so with the rakeback I'll keep myself afloat but ATM I'm far away from crushing even my current limit. This builds up frustration in me and I start to get much angrier when I lose than I did before. I'm aware this is not the best mindset to help me achieve my goals.

I started reading The Mental Game of Poker some time ago and I stopped somewhere around the middle. Finishing it and applying some of its concepts is pretty much all my plan to work on the mindset part.

As for the technicall part I'm struggling to put my efforts to improve in a more structured way so everytime I start to do something away from the tables it is very random and not connected with a general framework.

Another thing - I got a virus on my laptop and dealing with softweres and stuff tilts me a lot :) So I did the smart thing and ignored it for a while. For what I can see it doesn't do much rather than creating a bunch of folders (Sexy pictures, My girfriend photos etc.) on every external devise i connect to the system. When I delete them they pop up back in a second. Recently however they started to block my devices so non of the data was accesable anymore. Probably the most frustrating thing about it is that there are no actuall pictures in there folders. So I'm prepering my computer for a format so I can clean the devices. Will probably do it tomorrow. I really hope my poker database won't get screwed after exporting it. Never done that before.
