Think I handled them fairly well. I think on HU u need pretty strong mindset indeed cos it's really easy to spew money away. Thanks for the support

Tomorrow morning is going to be tough since I love sleeping, waking up before school to study poker.. I really hope I won't fail and I want to make it my habit. But got to do whatever it takes to get good at poker asap : )

Woke up today at 6.30 AM and started reviewing hands + posting questionable ones on hand evaluation forums. It felt really damn good when I had finished and now the hands were evaluated and they found a leak of mine :) which was raising flops with top pair not so good kicker!

Alright boys I'm off to grind.

Tomorrows morning I'm going to review and analyze all the bigger hands I've played in the past few days and once I'm done I will read Schnitzelfisches post on skyrocketing my productivity in life and poker :) Poker hasn't been going too well for me lately and I definitely need to increase some volume if I want to remain as platinum rank on stars. Probably gonna grind tons of time on this weekend.

Hi, few days ago my laptop broke down completely and I couldn't do nothing with it so I was completely computer-free for quite some time.. Happily I bought new today for some of my poker earnings and now I'm ready to grind and everything. Still need to set up a lot of stuff but yeah.. :) sorry for no updates for long-long time :(

Have had some ok sessions thus far since I started playing again. I'm currently at 920 VPPs but should be at 4.2k this month which means I got some catching up to do!! Maybe I'll start playing in the studying mornings too a bit (perhaps even wake up more early).

I'm off to grind now :)

My agg is 1.94 and agg% 36.1, I'm not sure what these numbers mean though :P Perhaps you can tell me if it's too much ; D

Just had a session where I played vs biggest tilting monkey ever, after losing buy-in he would start openshoving 100bbs and later once he got deeper he openshoved about 185bbs.. ran pretty unlucky too but I guess I got lucky that he joined me at the first place :P Still need to earn a lot of vpps, I'm afraid I might lose my platinum rank on stars this month :( But overall doing really good since I started playing again.

Hey muumionu, nice blog.

I also play nl50hu on stars and I'm really interested in how you play vs passive stationy fish? Do you bluff them at all since they often check super strong hands all the way OOP or check twice and bet river and I'm never sure if they are just stabbing at the pot or they are finally value betting their hand since they are so random.

@pokerprons

well there are many different kind of stations, but I bluff them when I think they are capable of folding their hand : p try to get as many notes as possible to make the decision weather they would take some lines with their range etc..

BTN shows 7 :diamond: 7 :spade: (TWO_PAIR SEVEN, SIX)
Hero shows 9 :club: 8 :diamond: (PAIR SIX)
BTN wins $29.22
(Rake: $1.53)

CO and BTN both are regs, decided to complete because we are deeper than 100bbs with CO.

I think when BTN cbets I thought his range is capped at 22-TT, maybe some combos of KJs+ and CO is clearly giving up so I think it's a profitable raise on the flop while I'm reping some 2 pairs and sets.

The turn card isn't the best for me to continue bluffing but I think I should still barrel to try and make 33,55,77,88,99 and TT (30 combos since I have blockers for 88 and 99, obv he won't fold them all 100% of the times but I'd expect villain to fold atleast 20 combos avg) fold which didn't happen to be the case. Obviously he is calling or raising 22,44,66 (7 combos). (maybe I should had bet .50-1.5$ more)

I don't think he would fold the river to a shove once he had called the turn, especially since FD and straight draws missed.

Unfortunately he did tank call the turn with 77 and I got owned Still think my play was good though.. if you have any thoughts about the hand feel free to post.

U decide to bluff since his range is capped at... the nuts? And u except him to fold a lot of pocket pairs on a low paired board. Makes absolutely no sense

I know its an old hand but just reading through blog..

this, what ihufa said + you don't rep 2p like u said, only sets which is super narrow range + good % of time u flat them OTF therefore its hard for u to rep much w/ a flop raise here also, turn barrel is kinda ugly since now u rep even less sets.. i would just giveup here. I know that 'sometimes' you can bluff a 'bad bluff card' vs certain villains in certain spots, but this is not one of them spots nor do I think an avg 50 plr is the kind of plr.

just read whole thread, defo try to think about constructing your 4b range better, ESPECIALLY vs those who flat, what use are hands like T7o 89o vs plrs that are flatting.

Yeah I agree completely, I usually do it with blockers like Kx or Ax.

I was supposed to wake up this morning 6.30 AM to study poker but I failed miserably, alarm didn't work so I'm going to try and make up for it today.

Getting closer and closer to nl100 shot too, only about 3 buy-ins away from the amount I had last time when I tried my luck there. Loving poker more than anything right now : ) The gym is taking a lot of money of mine so I'm going to need to spend my money more wisely from now on.

I'm also going to try and quit sweets 100% and see how I'm going to feel in a month or so. Lets see how it's gonna work out, I heard it will be great afterwards :)

Okayy I had successful morning today and tomorrow I'll do the same thing. Only found 1 hand to post on evaluation forums out of the 3 days I reviewed today. Also read a bit of productivity thingy.

Now gonna start a session, if it happens to go very well then my next session might be at nl100 =D

Played 7hours 30min session today where I lost the biggest pot of my life which was 261$ :( Even though few hands earlier I had lost about 160$ pot I surprisingly took it very calmly and my game didn't really get much worse after that ;) So I kept grinding, ended up taking back all my money from that guy and more..

Every fish I played were really bad today which I didn't mind.

Session ended up enough so that my next session will be at nl100 once again : )

Nl100 gave me warm welcome this time and got up around 300$, a lot of it is from nl50 since I played both same time but still : ) Felt really comfortable there and didn't really play scared money, maybe in the first 50 hands but that's it. Getting used to the bet sizes too slowly.

I've been 3 days without sweets thus far =) AND there has been a bowl on the table next to me full of sweets since I started this so am pretty proud : D
