Adventures of a LAG Blagger!

i play on PaddyPower under the name of TheClam69999. Been playing quite a bit of SpeedPoker with good results.

here is my system. if you look at the table's stats in the lobby you will see that VP (percentage of players to voluntarily put money in pre-flop) is very low at Speed poker tables, typically 14% to 17%.
This is a good clue of how to beat these games. most people are just waiting for monster hands and playing like NITS.

So steal the blinds when in position! on the button I min raise EVERY time if there are no other raises. at 10nl this means you are putting in 20c to win 15c every time the blinds fold. Which is over 70% of the time.

In late position 1 away from dealer button i am min raising any suited connectors, all pocket pairs any A+ suited.
Again I am just looking to steal the blinds, but if i get some fightback i am looking to have hands that have some good equity, post-flop.

The key to my strategy is is to minimise my involvement when people re-raise pre-flop. just fold and move on.

Against a call pre-flop i am ALWAYS firing a second barrel on the flop if Villian checks. REMEMBER i always have position in these spots so unless i really get a good flop for my hand i am ready to fold if Villian comes out fighting!

I tend to just bet the 2/3 the size of the pot post-flop because lots of NIT players like to check raise their strong hands. No point betting the farm if your hand isnt strong enough to stand a re-raise. Say the flop come Ad QD 10d, i have 2-7 off-suit. Villian checks, i raise 2/3 the pot villian folds 4 out of five times! The key point of my strategy is to STEAL STEAL STEAL against tight passive players. If they re-raise I fold.!!!!!!

If i have connected with the flop ( say 2 pairs, 77 and 22!!) I wll raise and re-raise against villian's agression. people who play ultra tight have a hard time believing their AA is no good after the flop!!

Lots of people forget that poker has FOUR streets of betting. The money is all earned with MADE hands after the flop. That's not gambling it's just banking. So see loads of cheap flops with crap hands and bet like crazy if you connect. And steal blinds all along the way from the NITS to finance your adventures!

In middle position i only play really good hands AA KK QQ JJ AK AQ suited and pocket pairs 99+

Here i tend to bet size 3x the big blinds.

Another tip is to Keep your buy in to about 2/3 of the maximum and to log out and re buy in when your stack gets big.

Unlike in regular games there is no ratholing policy, so when you have made a nice win, protect it and sit down again with 2/3 the maximum and continue stealling the blinds.

it is ridiculously easy and boring but makes a steady profit. These tables are super tight and this makes stealing from late position SUPER profitable. in a ring game peole would adjust to this style and start to fight for the blinds, but with 300+ players involved and new faces every hand, only a handful of pros are going to pick up on this repeated theft!

On that point, TAG regular players with large stacks. They are the easiest people to steal blinds from! but If they come out fighting beware!
And avoid steal attempt on people with hardly any chips left. They are too prone to raising you all in!

Avoid complicated situations and marginal hands! You dont have the time, or the information about players to make fancy fine judgement calls!

Just keep raising in position and and only fight back to agressive play post flop when you hit top pair top kicker 2 pairs, trips or open flush draws.

Easy as ABC.

Hey if u guys wouldnt mind, i would like someone to tell me weather speed poker on ipoker is even beatable for any reasonable winrate, as I have been losing over 200k hands at nl10 and my skill set is not at all bad, I have watched tons of videos, been playing poker for 4 years, and made money in tournaments, as well as cash in the past. I have invested tons of time into my game, and yet I hear this might be a game that cant really be beat. Let me know what u think :)

Hey All,

I was just wondering if there is any Fast Fold Poker study group, I did a quick search and could only find 1 from 2010. I think I am really struggling to beat the games and would like to discuss my play, unfortunately I can’t do any screen sharing because my internet is too slow.

If anyone is interested in disusing Fast Fold then add me in the Community and we can exchange Skype’s, I am from Australia but I play during European peak times.

Chears,
Al

Ik would like join you, play regularly 5NL -10 NL Zoom Stars.
Otherwise this video can help you to find your leaks, it did help me:

poker is easy. if your han is like 5♣:3♠:
and the flop is 6♦:4♣:8♦: you check. next card 9♦: you bet/bluff

if a enemy bet you bet to see if he bluff
etc etc..

if you have pretty decent cards go all in just if you know someone will loose
