:spade:  :diamond: :club: A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME: :spade:  :diamond: :club:

Been marked by multiple failures in my life. Some caused by lack of knowledge and experience, others for being too ambitous, some for not working enough/not wanting it enough.

Life has taught me a few things and what I know is I do not want to work for somebody else. I don't want my possibilities to be controlled by someone else.

In the past few years I've had to close down my business and currently I'm unemployed. Spanish Economic crisis has a lot to do with it, but now i firmly believe that path was not for me.

I'm just getting over a back injury that has had me away from any physical activity for nearly 2 years. I have some limitations but at least i can do some swimming, running, cycling and very moderate gym exercises. I used to love football, but those days are over for me.

Now my only goal and motivation is poker. Every day, poker is my life. I want nothing more. I am focused and I'm ready to give it all I have... and if it's not enough I will find a way to work harder and make my vision a reality.

Backing down.... giving up... are no loner options.

This is what i want and until i get it i will let nothing distract me from my pursuit of happiness.

CURRENT RESULTS SINCE NOVEMBER 2012 IN POKERSTAR.ES

3€ GAMES

5€ GAMES

Starting from February i will post results, specific goals related to improvement of certain aspects of my game, hands, comments and some off-topic stuff aswell to make it less serious.....after all... Why so serious?

Seeing as this blog is called Nash, Trash & two smoking barrels i feel the need to make a small tribute to one of my favourite Guy Ritchie films:

Thnx for passing by!

Hi Legand73!

Thanx for the welcome! I'm glad you liked the intro

Starting a first chapter to my blog, i have to make mention of one the aspects that is changing my game style and approach to poker in the last few months.

Late october 2012, I ran into a post by Kevvu (now diamond status and hand judge) where he was offering some free coaching for 6max sngs.

ATM, I was desperately looking for some help with my game. I felt like I had been stuck at the same level for way too long and that i wasn't managing to make any progress.

I got in touch with Kevvu to see if we could discuss some poker, maybe even talk about some free coaching

Unfortunately he was too busy at the time and my game level didn't motivate him to invest time with me for free. This was perfectly understandable.

What he did do was refer me to a friend of his who he was currently coaching: AA91EST.
He's a young Estonian poker player. Very hard working dude and quite good at poker. Since we got in touch late october we have been doing session reviews, and studying poker theory through skype on a daily basis.
I have no words to explain how helpfull AA91EST has been for me and how the regular sweat sessions keep me motivated and improving.

For the curious, here is my friend's graph. He has made an extremely fast progression through 3.50$ to 15$ SNGs. He is currently taking some shots at 30$ but i believe lady variance is not being nice with him lately!

I could not finish this post without sending a special thank you to both Kevvu and AA91EST.

TY so much!

Why.

Hi all !! Thanks for the support! gràcies pels ànims!

I made a list of videos to watch in the next 2 months. Some i have already seen a long time ago, but I think its always good to watch them again if your game or mentality has changed.

The idea is to watch most of them twice. The first time while i'm cycling in front of the TV. (It motivates me to do some exercise, otherwise i get bored on the bike). Second time i will watch and take notes.

Here is my list. Some of them are in spanish. I will probably add more videos as the come up or if someone recommends something interesting.

Why.

I was going to update at the beginning of february with my goals for the month, but i decided to wait because i was closing a coaching deal.

Now it's confirmed. I'll be having regular coaches with Kevvu. We have reached a long term agreement and I'm quite excited about it. I think it will be really good for my game.

I don't want to get into details about the agreement, but I can say that i will be playing a minimum of 100 hours of poker per month and will be doing regular sessions with the sensei.

I still have to make some evaluations to set my definite goals for the month but at least i have the 100hr goal.

So far this month has been very irregular due to a bit of a downswing but also due to tilt and bad play in general. I have not respected sleeping hours and tilt control. Unhappy because of the lack of control, but i am conscious of it and will work hard to not let it happen again.

So far this month:

I thought it would be nice to look through all the hands i've posted in the forum to review again, refresh the memory, see what kind of doubts i had before compared to now and see if i'm still making same mistakes.

Hei,
Really nice blog, keep it going!
I have work with WhySoSeriouz about 2 and half months, we have made very much sessions together and trying to beat these 6max games! It was really nice time to work with you!
You have been made nice video selection but still i recommend for you 1st watch Schnitzelfisch video series and then work with your videos what you selected, because you got nice idea, how to find your leaks and so one. You have to manage your time more better and efficiently!!!
GL in tables and the worst rivers ever!

Time to update this ghost blog

Had to take a few days off this month for family and had some friends visit me from out of town, so not the best month considering the distractions.

Coaching is awesome, learning a little something everyday. Im still doing some sweat sessions with AA91EST which also help a lot.

Focusing on fixing some leaks ATM:

1- Having static OR
2- My 3bet stats
3- BTN and SB OR
4- Deep HU play
5- Timing Out and missclicks (big leak, but easier fix than i imagined)
6-Concentration span and going into Auto-mode
7- Nash CR
8- 3bet pots
9- Time and learning efficiency (probably one of the biggest leaks)
10- Observing and interpreting game dynamics

So far this month:

End of February UPDATE.

More or less happy with established goals for the month. It was a bit irregular because i had some days off plus month was short as it is. Im running pretty good although i think EV line doesn't reflect variance too well this month.. so many coolers and river suckouts. Anyways, can't complain!

Also started coaching on 7th of february.

A bit short on my 100hr monthly minimum but it was a poorly organized month. I don't think it will be a problem for march.

CURRENT GOALS: (Febraury 2012)
:diamond:Grind 40-50 SNGs per day [averaged 46 games on active days]
:diamond:Grind 275 SNGs per week [averaged 250 per week]
:diamond:Grind 1100-1300 SNGs per month [1010 games on 22 active days]
:diamond:Mantain 10%+ ROI in 3€ games, Achieve 7%+ ROI in 5€ games[15% ROI in 3€ games, 12.3% ROI in 5€ games]
:diamond:Play 60% 5€ games, 40% 3€ games [72% 5€ games, 26% 3€ games, 2% 10€ games]
:diamond:Reach 100 buy ins for 10€ games [completed]

BRIEF GOALS FOR MARCH

:spade:100 HOUR MINIMUM
:spade:START MIXING 10€ GAMES (AT LEAST 10%)
:spade:ATTEMPT 8-9 TABLING (6 TABLING ATM)
:spade:MANTAIN +12% ROI IN 5€ GAMES
:spade:CONCENTRATE ON ELIMINATING LEAKS
:spade:START STUDYING OPPONENTS
:spade:IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE OF NASH CALLING RANGES
:spade:IMPROVE BUBBLE GAME
:spade:WORK ON CONCENTRATION ENHANCEMENT
